Two lonely souls with a dark history together, run into one another as they drink their woes away.

This is Nate and Rex seated drinking at an empty Saloon, Nate having had broken his glass in hand which caused Rex to come sit by him as she gently picked the glass from his hand before proceeding to conjure a flame in her hand to cauterize the wounds. She snuffed the flame as she clasped his hand in hers, providing just enough heat so not to damage his hand.

For those who are unaware, Nate and Rex are ex’s and have a Daughter together. They are both suffering their own sorrows since the separation, having also not had seen or heard from each other in so long. This chance meeting is exactly what they needed, someone who cares despite all they have been through..
