PSA: Addressing recent issues (plus fixing them)

Hello everyone, good evening to you all. Today we have some very important matters to talk about regarding the past two weeks. Now is the time I personally address this because it's gone too far. It saddens me, I have to address this again.

Now as some of you are aware of the recent issues here involving hate speech, harassment, bullying, racist comments, threats, spam etc. Today I want to resolve this, on behalf of making here equal and welcoming for everyone. Please do not think of this as an "attack" or "public hate" I can reassure our community it is not. Moving on lets began with addressing the issues

Hate Posts/Targeting

First I would like to bring light to what classes as hate posts/speech. This can be small to mass scale, for example, someone may say "I really hate this character! They shouldn't have been made" Now that isn't classed as hate, it's someone's strong opinions and we all have rights to that within reason. Please respect this is the internet and people don't have the same preferences.

What can be called hate posts/speech?

This will be obvious to everyone,but for people unware, posting things like "This member needs to be gone because they hurt me by xyz means because so and so did this!" IS NOT ALLOWED. That is both harassment, hate, bullying and/or attempt to get someone ban. Some serious examples include the following:

Targeting people includes making posts aimed at a staff/member for something a person does not agree with. If leaders find ANYONE doxxing, claiming to use someone's information as a threat, we have the right to remove a member from our Amino as it is illegal and deemed harmful to peoples safety.

Harassment/Bullying

Next on our list of topics is harassment and bullying. Here on our community we encourage people to speak up and be honest if they have problems, any of us are welling to help. But in recent days, we've noticed a spike in harassment. More so aimed towards staff for trying to calm a situation or issue that may occur. We do NOT tolerate bullying people if someone has his/her disagreements., and staff are not above this. Note that staff do not like having to deal with bullying or harassment. Any form for this matter. In future if anyone has issues with staff, , rules etc. Please come talk to someone in general than cause an uproar.

Harassment can be can be through messages private or public as a means to get what someone wants, usually happens when things don't go a persons way. Please let me or fellow staff be aware if someone has been doing this, and we will deal with it in a professional manner.

Comments of Racism/Threats

This topic is huge among all backgrounds and many of us wish to not talk about these things. We here all come from different parts of the world. so it might be a shock at times. We've all been there; judging someone from when we first meet them etc. I will keep this topic short and to the point. We've been informed that racist  posts are on a rise here.If we don't like someone, just brush it off and think no more of it. That's the mature thing, right?

HOWEVER! It is with the best interest of the community I state VERY clearly that ANY form of posts calling people "anti [subject]" is not welcomed, it offends, upsets and causes hurt towards people so keep them dark themes to ourselves. This also includes threats.

Threats are a very serious issues  such as;

- Blackmail

- Threatening to get someone kicked out of Amino

- Threading to have someones information as a means of self gain.

- Self harm or self-harm to staff/

- Threatening to get a community ban.

- Endangering people

- Sexual interactions to minors

- Illegal actives.

Overall thoughts

I want to encourage everyone here to be able to speak without being worried over issues like these happening to them. No matter what, we treat everyone the same and equally regardless what problems or feelings they have. Staff are not above this, anyone found doing things like this shall be punished appropriately with accordance to our communities penalty system. In serious issues Leaders will strike or ban depending on how bad the issue raised is. I hope everyone here truly does enjoy there time in Fate/Universe RP and I try to please everyone, I want this community to grow again.
