CLAMP Inspired Drawing.

I would like to share a drawing I did few months back for a CLAMP Day collaboration.

He is acutely aware that he can never escape the fate of being thrust into bloody battlefields as a war weapon and the strongest warrior, elevated to the world's pinnacle under the scrutiny of all, yet humbly yearning for an ordinary life.

She refuses to be a pampered bird in a gilded cage, a delicate "princess" atop an ivory tower, but instead desires to don armor, defend her homeland with pride.

Neither wanting to be each other nor to replace one another, but to see in each other's presence–what my heart longs for, found in you.

"I may not grasp the sword tailored for you in your hand, you may not be the stardust innate to my soul, yet in the lingering gaze at the corner of our eyes, we indeed feel the lingering warmth of our most cherished desires brushing past each other's souls."
