Guide to Create Your Hero

Lots of people do #createyourhero as they’re easy to do in short timespans, however some don’t know of the resources you can use to improve on your own creations.

Today, I’ll be showing you some websites you can use to make your heroes look clean and cut and some methods I use. However of course put your own little spin on it as well. This will also include ways to make your posts neatly formatted such as having texts centered, italicized, bolded, etc.

Adding media to your posts

How to insert photos

First it

To put it in your post, tap and hold the screen like you’re coping something, this will show up and tap the photo

Then tap the photo you want and it will insert it

Gifs

Gifs act like photos, you can choose premade ones in the amino or you can make your own. For instance my cover image (which you can also choose for a cover photo in your media page) is a gif I made.

I used this free app to make my gif.

Now you can finally start your hero!

Where do I start?

Your Hero

At the beginning, most people start out with the basics. This is using art from online and putting the stats, quotes, and more under it.

EX: Lukas: Sneaky Soldier

Stats

(Use [CBI] and then a space)

HP:

(Use [CB] and then space)

37/40/43

(Use [C] and then space)

The stats of most normal units are in differences of three. However some units are special and have a possible plus X to one stat or minus X stat (X = number more than three)

Ex: Fjorm has these unfortunate stats

Fjorm has a possibility of having -4 to Hp, Atk, and Def.

From here you can add quotes, their level 50 conversation, character dialogue, and more.

What can I do to improve my heroes?

If you really want to you can use websites to make your heroes more visualized in the game. I use two primary websites, Fire Emblem Unit Builder and Fire Emblem Gamepress, for my create your heroes.

Fire Emblem Unit Builder

The website looks like this

Choose Custom Unit, and this page will show up

From here you fill in the info you need, and for the skills you can icon images for your skills. I recommend using skill icons from previous Fire Emblem games, you can find these images from the Fire Emblem Wiki and looking up the gallery of the skills

It will give you the option to a picture as your hero portrait, I use pngs when I can, however sometimes you can’t found a good one. I’d remove the background of images using editors like Krita if I find a nice cypher of a hero.

Fire Emblem Gamepress

Gamepress primarily has a list of all the heroes which you can arrange from highest Stats Total or lowest tier and etc.

I use this as a way to gauge how high of a BST I’d allow my unit to have and to compare it to similar unit types

Add your own spin

If you plan to make many CYHs, it’s always great to add a little personal pizazz

For example, I use official images from the Nintendo YouTube channel to give the illusion of a New Heroes video.
