[My reaction and opinion to the new banner]

Here's my reaction:

Now to my opinions:

As an Archanea fanboy, this pleases me. Seeing not only characters from FE3 (which is my absolute favorite FE game) but also seeing the new characters from FE11 is really amazing, as well as easily available units from FE1/FE11. This banner gets an easy 10/10 due to fanboyism. Now onto the characters

Phina

I love her. I used her in FE3, she was so useful, and it's nice to have Navarre's partner in Heroes. I always wanted her to be in Heroes. She has the Rapier, an iconic weapon in the franchise, but they make it her preferred weapon because she could use it in FE3. Still a bit weird how they added a Vantage effect on it. Her skills are a bit lack luster, but that Form skill is nice I guess? Not a big fan but doesn't mean I wouldn't try to summon her on my free summon.

However, she faces a bit of competition with other dancers like Olivia and Silvia, which are more available than her considering she will not get demoted thanks to Form skill and Rapier.

Sirius

The man, the legend, the one character no one knows who he really is despite having the same actor in one game but a different one in this game. Sirius is other unit that I love in FE3, the best Paladin in the game and such a power house, even dismounted he was powerful. He comes with the Sable Lance, a powerful Slaying Lance with an Omni Solo effect, and with Atk/Spd Solo and Lull Atk/Spd, he will always have +13 on Atk and Spd if not adjacent with any ally. While yes, he still faces competition with other units like Abel, Oscar, and that loser named Camus, he is still a great unit that I might try to summon. He is just that amazing.

Norne

I only know about Norne because people said she was a better archer than Gordin in FE11, but I never tried her, so I have no real opinion. Her base kit is a massive sleep, but it's nice that we got Guard Bow at base and that she looks like to have some defense and speed with her skills. Brazen Spd/Def is new so cool I guess? At least some Norne fans will be happy that the better archer is in Heroes.

She gets competitition with other bulky archers like Gordin and Virion? Idk I never saw a lot of bulky free archers. Good thing she will get demoted.

Nagi

Also no real opinion on Nagi aside that you can get her in FE11 if you failed to obtain Falchion and you killed Tiki. Yikes...

Her breath tho. It's a Slaying Dragon Effective Raven Anti-AoE Breath, and the fact that she gets Distant Counter makes me believe she was design to counter AoE attackers such as Ophelia and Lewyn in AR, but I have the problem that she is an armored unit. Why is she armored? That means one movement and no access to Null C-Disrupt, which would helped facing Dazzling healers, but IS is really dumb sometimes. Not gonna bother with her o Norne because I don't care that much. At least Nagi is DC fodder.

I know she will be better than M!Grima at least.

Bantu

Amazing. He helped a lot during FE1 and FE3 Book 1. While we don't know his skills yet, I like the idea of new heroes for the lower rating pools, but it's a shame those are so bloated with useless units. Still, Ban Ban being in Heroes is great and it's good to see Yamada Akihiro doing his artwork.

Astram

Please don't suck

YOU WERE A GREAT FILLER HERO IN FE3 PLEASE DO NOT SUCK

Ok, Astram, while great to have him in Heroes, is in a predicament right now. He will be a Sword Infantry, a movement type so used he would not stand out. But if they give him Mercurius with a good effect, he might not be forgotten. Now Midia needs to be in Heroes.

I'm not good at conclusions so here's what I think of the newer heroes from an Archanea fanboy.
