FA MP5’s might be the most fun machine guns out there. Granted I don’t have a ton of MG experience but the roller delayed system isn’t bullshit and makes it very flat shooting.

Loved every second of it! Maybe 2 seconds total lol It was $45 a magazine to shoot. Only other FA I’ve shot is an MP40 in 45 a. MP5 was definitely smoother than that. I’ll probably go back to that range soon and try some others, but they’re $60 a mag. Can’t do them all at once.

MP40 is a bucket list MG to shoot for me. I had the good fortune of attending an event that had an SOT booth set up with an FA AR lower and a suppressed FA MP5 that I could shoot as long as I brought ammo for it lol. Was also neat to see how one of my AR uppers performed in FA too. $60 a mag is pricey but for once or twice a year it might be worth it to do a couple mags.
