This is the second mask I’ve made! The first one was of the Vanny mask from Ruin, although I couldn’t see through it at all :,) Fortunately, I can see in this one! Though my vision is limited.

To start off I made a circle out of cardboard, then layered another piece for the crescent moon side, cut holes for the eyes, and added the “sun-rays” (for lack of a better word to describe them.) Somehow, I lost one of the ones I cut out so now he only has 8 as opposed to 9. Not too big a deal though.

For the back I added this packing foam-like material I found in storage to add padding for the bridging of my nose, and I used an old shirt to make the black mesh for the eyes! For the strap I originally used leather (I got it from a store that sells used/left over materials! Heavily recommend visiting stores like this before buying new materials, especially when it comes to products like leather) though I switched it for a black ribbon later.

I then painted it, gave it a few textures, and it was near ready to go!

Next I used card stock paper I painted for the mouth and touched up on some details! Here’s the finished mask:
