Veteran Employee Challenge!

As someone who's been here for a 6 years now, I'd say this challenge is over due for me! So, if you will, have a seat and let me tell you of my time here. The years of FNAFA told through a member.

How much has this community changed since I originally got here?

Well, yes, frankly. I got here in September of 2016, and to say this place has changed is an understatement!! When I first got here there was a lot more activity, first off, but most of all it was wild. A lot of active live chats, no one following rules, heck there used to be a video feature that let you have face call in lives!! You used to be able to mute other as host. Your location was shown on your profile, heck there was even a music feature! You used to be able to go and play FNAF music on a sort of player in app! I never really saw the mod team out and about, so that's a definite change!

Who have a met along the way? How have they effected me?

Well, I've met many many people. Some who are still here and some who aren't! 2018 was My most prominent year, personally. I had a small group of friends, we used to go live in our chat, we called each other the Short Gang! They were a Jeremy, Michelle, and a William. The William disappeared first, then the Jeremy, and then finally Michelle. They had the biggest impact on me. They helped me with my art and pushed me to do the best I could and even helped me with my anxiety I'm talking in lives. Recent people though, there's a lot, too many actually hehe.

What was my favorite activity done by the Mod team? Why?

Personally, I love AOTW!! I always have since they started doing it. Sometimes I have art block and don't know what to get started with and boom! Notification for the newest animatronic shows up and I know where to start! It also gives lesser known animatronics a chance to be seen!

What do I like to do here? What else would I like to do?

My favourite thing to do is to chat with people! In lives or in non-live chats. It lets me meet new people and see new chats I haven't seen before. I would like to post more though! I used to have a lot of post but after some certain incidents I deleted them, with only screenshot evidence for some of them.

Why did I originally ?

My origin story isn't anything special, frankly. I happened to be in FNAF and was watching a few FNAF YouTubers. One day, Andiematronic had an ad plug in for amino, specifically FNAF, and well, I said why not and ed.

What do I like about this community?

I like meeting new people!! Being here gives me a chance other apps haven't really given me. Here I can talk to them and see what their about and more.

What's my favorite kind of post?

I really love seeing the Art post & even Quizzes! Though there aren't as many Quizzes anymore, I still do love seeing the art! All the amazing art styles and improvement people make over the days is amazing to me!! Frankly, it inspires me and I'm glad to be here to see it all.

Is my love for this community the same like it used to be?

Sadly, no. I have a lot of mixed feelings about this place. I'm glad to have to meet new people and have a place to post me art but also, there's a lot about here that just kinda, isn't good. With all good, there's bad, and the older you get the more you realize that and start to notice it, I can definitely testify that. Though this place will always have a special place in my heart, it will also be one I try to make sure I get breaks from, as it's not always good for your mental health.

My favourite from here then and now?

Back then my favourite thing was being able to post my art, now? It's chatting and meeting new people. I used to be too shy to really talk to others back then but now? I'm very much more forward and social!

If I could tell Scott one thing, what would it be?

I would tell him, thank you. Without FNAF I don't think I'd be where I am now or who I am. Yeah, I have flaws and some things have happened, but I wouldn't trade the world for anything else except for what and who I am now. Thank you Scott.

Which do I prefer? The novels, or games?

Personally, I prefer the Novels. Though I also love reading. The games will always have a special place in my heart, especially since it was all we had when I first got here, well for me at least I didn't have money to buy silver eyes haha.

What's next for my chapter in this community?

Well... I don't know, frankly. I'm not gonna lie and say I do know, the truth is I don't. I've been making things up as I go, going with the flow! I never really planned anything I've done on here other than my chats. Hopefully though, in the future, I'll be running a successful chat!

Final notes on my time here?

Well, FNAFA has certainly changed over the years, whether for worse or better. Honestly, if I had to make note of anything, it would be that you should be kind on here. I've witnessed a lot of negativity and how it effects both sides, just be kind of keep you comments to yourself. Maybe with the positivity we can make this community even better!

Fun Factz

I've actually been here longer than Smol, our amino Agent! Though, only by days! FNAFA has had 4-5 eras people know it by! Beginnings 2015-16. Golden Era 2016-18. Ghost era 2019. Hype Era 2020-21. Security Breach Era 2022-23. Having gifs as your cover photos and backgrounds in your chats back then used to be very common practice and was seen as very "swag". Quizzes used to be very common, often about the timeline or the pizzerias & even animatronics themselves! Sometimes fan stuff too.
