Today (8/18/17), TGISGF was a game called Observer, which I ruled out because it was PS4 compatible. I still stand by my theory that they will play sonic, but they may be playing mutiple games on the list.

My guess is that they are playing one of these games...

The games in the running to be played, as the streams never use PS4, are Agents of Mayhem, Nidhogg 2, Night Trap 25th Anniversary, Observer, and Sonic Mania.

I believe it will likely be Sonic Mania, as it is listed as compatible with the switch.

Nidhogg and Night Trap seem to be sequels, and their predecessors have not been played in GTLive.

That leaves Agents of Mayhem, Observer, and Sonic Mania.

The factors leading me to believe that the mystery game is Sonic Mania are

A. MatPat is no stranger to Sonic

And

B. As I said earlier, this game is compatible with the switch.

This is more of a mini theory, but I feel like it's still an interesting one.
