Last episode we discussed how the Chaos Emeralds are in fact Chaos Quartz, once again click the I card for more information on that. Something I pointed out but only briefly touched on was THIS!

THIS. IMPORTANT. THING. TO. EXPLAIN. SONIC. HOW HAVE I NOT COVERED THIS YET?!?

Anyway... Prasiolite, while rare, was decided to be the green chaos "Emerald". These only are created with toxic radiation.

Hence my cheesy fission pun earlier.

While I explained last time Sonic's origin, today I will go more in depth.

Angel Island contains large green crystals. We've decided that Prasiolite is the green Chaos Emerald suggesting that this green crystal could also be radioactive.

While radioactive crystals naturally exist in nature, these don't.

Talking Foxes, Echidna, and Hedgehogs.

Mobians were created when animal and human DNA fused. Aliens attacking Earth made this possible by melting life into ooze, when the genetics created Sonic, Tails, and other Mobians.

They were quite literally melted by bombs created by the aliens. If that doesn't show radioactive waste creating radioactive mutations I don't know what does.

Once again, the Sonic franchise is darker the deeper you dive into it.

What does this mean for Sonic? The friendly creatures you see are actually Radioactive mutants. They don't seem to be harmful, but they are still mutants.

Let me repeat that...
