This theory I thought up years ago, but never had the free time to actually write it out. It's simple: Is the Links from Majora's Mask, Ocarina of Time, and Twilight Princess one in the same? Out of the 3, 2 are confirmed to be the same. The hero of Time in OoT and MM. "Why I am making this theory?" you might be asking, and this is why...
First of all, Ganondorf and Zelda are the same as their OoT appearance. In between OoT and TP, a war was waged between the Hylians and Gerudo because of what Link told Zelda at the end of OoT. There's a lot of evidence in TP and it's confirmed via Hyrule Historia. Either way, it ended with the failed execution of Ganon. He was, then, exiled in the Twilight Realm. If Link was a decendant of OoT Link (like the Hyrule Historia states), the two would be looking much older, but they look like an updated (appearance wise..) version of their OoT appearance. "But Kyle," you might be saying "It could be the same Ganon, but the triforce or power made him stay young through the generations of Link and Zelda! Or... maybe it was the Twilight Realm stay" To both, I say a hefty no. Out of every power the triforce of... power... has shown through the games doesn't include eternal life (in BotW, I'll make another blog for Calamity Ganon...), only major resistance to nonholy weapons. With the twilight realm, if you enter the twilight covered Hyrule at night and wait the same amount of time it takes for it to be day and warped out, it would be daytime, so there is no way twilight alters time flow.
You might say that "Hyrule got wayyyy too big for a span of around 10 years! It can't work!" Well... take the USA. In 1776, when it became the USA, it had a mere 13 states. In 1786, they got 9 more states in total. This nearly tripled the size of the country! So around 10 years in Hyrule could lead to a lot of new land. And most of the land could have been prior Gerudo territory until the war.
More info coming later!
