Here goes a post to help get your day started with your mind thinking!

With Key Fobs being all the rage in modern cars nowadays. I figured, I matter as well bring light to this topic, with the wonderful community of GarageAmino! So here we go! :sunglasses:

Just look at these two very sophisticated looking key fobs! :astonished:

Here goes a post to help get your day starte

Gone are the days where key fobs were just a necessity! Now, key fobs are a true fashion statement!

Whether you are pulling them out of your purse in front of your friends at the beach, or sliding them sleekly into your pocket just before a #business meeting! Key fobs are what showcase what you drive when your ride isn't nearby! :car:

Not to mention, the confidence they provide for the consumer (when it comes to quality and looks)... Key fobs are the epitome of efficient, practical, and stylish works of car art! Do you agree? 🤔

Key fobs house "necessities" such as door locking, door unlocking and panic alarms...

Lock and unlock features on the Elantra's Key Fob.

...To even luxuries and "amenities", such as Remote Start/ Stop, Keyless Entry w/ Proximity, Push Button Start/ Stop with other Proximity features, and even "Hands Free" Smart Trunk Functionality (in the case of these two Hyundai's).

Just look at these fairly stylish, and attractive looking key fobs! One being the key fob to the 2017 #Elantra Sport (right)! :astonished:

The Key Fob to the Genesis G90 strongly resembles the vehicle it is paired to! Featuring a very "heavy" feel, suggesting luxury quality. Furthermore, the leather imitation suggests higher quality, and let's everyone know you drive a more vehicle! :ok_hand:

2017 Genesis G90 Ultimate

The Elantra Sport's key fob on the other hand, doesn't strongly resemble the "Sporty" aspect of the vehicle... Since I had the top-of-the-line Elantra Sport with the Package, it came with this rather "too" fancy and luxurious looking key fob! :disappointed:

I would have definitely liked to have seen more of a daring, and aggressive styling to the key fob... The brown imitation leather texture just doesn't work for me.

I would have also liked to seen an all black carbon fiber shell (or imitation carbon fiber) on the key fob. I feel like matte (black or gray) buttons perhaps would really go well, too! Finally, the key fob should be accented with very bright, strong, and bold red accents, to truly accentuate the "Sporty" presence of the Elantra Sport! :smirk:

I don't think fobs look good. I had a 2005 Ford Focus SE(it was a lemon, but my cousin destroyed the transmission in less than a week anyway) and it had a key and a fob, which I liked because I like keys but I liked the electronic locks(even though 1 door never locked), and I like being able to turn on the electronics without turning on the engine. I often have to wait for people and with that ability I can have the radio and A/C on without wasting fuel. Also I just love the feeling of turning a key more than pressing a button or, in the case of the Tesla Model S, just pushing the brake pedal.

I see what your saying! Most key fobs include the vehicle having push button start. While, other vehicles have switch blade key fob designs... Allowing you to have the "style" of a key fob, and the use of a traditional twist and turn key!

Also, I review cars on YouTube, and every car is different when it comes to the power on functionality... Some cars allow many electronics to be usable, while others a limited amount. It really depends on the manufacturer and the age of the vehicle! Thanks for commenting on and enjoying this post! :wink: :grin: :+1:

They didn't used to be but now they are slowly becoming more and more of a statement, especially since manufacturers have begun to put more detail into them.

I totally agree! Key fobs are slowly becoming more and more a style statement! :smiley:

I personally review cars on YouTube, and I critic on certain key fob designs... I judge quality, design, and how it matches the cars design!

Yep! The Elantra Sport's key fob is definitely the "looker"! I am not quite sure how it fits the Elantra Sport, but overall it was a very high quality, and functional key fob! :wink:
