This blog is going to be bias as hell, don’t read, if your easily offended.
So next, I’m going to let you know, why I think other companies have gone downhill and are not as good as Mazda:
1. Honda
I used to like Hondas once, but since the EP3 Civic, there have been none good Hondas. The newest Type R is pretty much riced from the factory (hate those fake vents so much) and the new NSX didn’t really impress anyone. Honda cars have lost their charm and their reliability as well. , when Honda and Toyota used to be the kings, when it came to reliability. The other thing, that really disappointed me about them is that they ruined the Clarity model name. The first gen was so cool, one of the only hydrogen powered cars. Then the second gen came out and was just another hybrid.

2. Mitsubishi
Speaking of ruining model names, the names, such as EVO and Eclipse. Well, yeah. If you like those cars, then you better like SUVs:

3. Toyota
Here we go! The mkIV Supra is the most favourite car of so many people. Why aren’t that many people exited for the new BMW Supra then, huh? Also, ever heard of the Toyota Prius? T O Y O T A Prius. Like only the most hated car in the entire planet.

4. Nissan
Those who don’t like the Supra as much are problably GT-R fanboys. The best GT-R, the R34, they didn’t bring it to the US or EU. Same story with the S-chassis. S15 Silvia is such a stunning car and we didn’t get it. Name a Mazda, that we didn’t get. I’ll wait (Yes there’s the 323 GTX and GTR, but we still got the normal 323, so it doesn’t count). I also think, that the cars they make now are the ugliest. Like who the hell came up with the Juke and tought, ah yes, lets put that beuty into production?

5. Lexus
The newest ones all look the same and while it’s really not that big of a deal, it still bothers me a bit.

6. Subaru
You got me there. I haven’t got a single bad word to say about them. The only thing I could say, is that the new STi is not a real STi, but idk, i still think it is. Luckily they haven’t really been a competetor for Mazda. The BRZ rivals the NC Miata, but that’s about it.
I know Mazda isn’t perfect and they have some small problems (*cough*rust*cough*). What if the rotary engine isn’t that reliable? Atleast they tried to be different and used a dorito in the engine bay of their cars. And as it turns out, some people are really into that.
That’s the reason I like Mazda as much -their different. They haven’t really adapted hybrid technology yet because they wan’t to perfect the internal combustion engine first and I don’t think they get enogh credit fo that. And like someone somewhere said (idk who), it’s not perfection if there are no more things to add to a product, it’s perfection, when there is nothing more to add. And Mazda’s goal is exactly that. Who the hell needs spark plugs to ignite the fuel anyway? I also praise them for making the ND Miata smaller in size and giving it less power, than the NC. Another example of not following the trends of car world.
The final thing I wanted to bring up, is that their current lineup has still got the sportiest cars compared to the comptetors. The Mazda 6 is a good example. Compare it to the Avensis, the at, the Insignia, whatever really, it’s way more sporty (which, btw means, it’s a better car).
But again, all of that is just my opinion. If you feel different, tell me so in the comments. Thanks for reading!

I consider myself to be more of a metalhead, than a car guy. So when a band sells out or screws up in another way, then I no longer respect their earlier stuff, because I know, that same people are behind that. That’s why I problably feel the way I do towards car conpanies.

Hmm yeah thats fair enough
Pissed off? You made my day! I love being a dick with facts!
If we were really judging on sportyness of the brand and lineup, Mazda falls short to the larger manufacturers currently. Nissan's Nismo division currently develops nismo packages for much of their current lineup and holds cup competitions to promote grassroots motorsports. Honda's brought in multiple sporty cars on numerous levels of price and class while upholding their commitment to producing practical vehicles. With hard ties with GT300/500 racing as well as other GT classes in America, they are committed to motorsports and the growth of it. While Subaru is a smaller brand and has developed little in the past decade, the brand is far more committed to producing cars worth driving for pleasure. Numerous sub-versions of their sport line up cars like the BRZ Ts and WRX STI RA, they too are also committed to the enthusiast sport side of automobiles. Mazda yes is on the cutting edge of research and development but their foot isn't as far into the pool as others, considering the ND is main sport vehicle.
I’m kinda sad, that they don’t really take part in motorsports

If they did I would agree with you more
I agree! Honestly Lexus and Mazda are some of my favorites... the. Lexus is one fantastic companies and is one of the best in the world tbh. But honestly if anything man Honda makes better cars I don't know what you could say to disprove that statement. And I'm not a Honda fan AT ALL. What you bring up doesn't seem to make too much sense and is too biased. Still a good write up tho and I love this post honestly.
