Just gonna waste money if you do. Not gonna be putting down much more than you have right now. Do small turbos if anything.
My bearings on my gen 3 supercharger starting to go out and I might not make a lot of power right out of the gate but with some more ing mods I'll be able to run boost than the Gen 3 blower without overdriving it

Oh I thought you were running NA. Might not be a bad idea then if it doesn't take much power to drive it.
I dont think id bother buddy. Swapping pulleys etc on your current one will net you very close results. Yes the gen 5 is more efficient etc... that said youre fighting for 2lbs boost. Give or take call it 20-50hp. After cost of swap. Cost of potential parts to rebuild. Etc. Just dont think its worth it
I see what you are saying the original plain was to put a stage 2 kit from zzp on it and it would get me 35 hp for $662 but this conversation for the gen 5 cost $350 and I would need gaskets and a belt which are $67

I would rather see you save up to go all out. Swap to a bigger super charger with built internals, as opposed to having (we'll say a $1000 or less) into a gain you might not even really feel. It's your money of course. If its worth it you YOU then sure go for it. I'll suggest 1 other option. Its not uncommon to see blown up montes with good superchargers in them. Might do some junkyard diving for a gen 5. Probably put you at 150 for the same piece ebay is selling. Facebook is another option of course. If youre gonna do it I'd want you to go for a cheaper buy in
How is this even a question
