What is it useful for? Downforce? To protect your hood from rocks? To reduce wind noise? Obviously not for beuty.

It's a rock and big guard... Ugly ASF but protects your car
Most likely to keep bugs of your windshiled and hood. I dont think it has much impact on the downforce. Just probably adds drag and slightly increases mpg’s
Bug guard
Its a bug guard! Help keep the hood looking rock chip free and your windshield cleaner. Its more common on trucks that travel alot.
