Heyo GDA!
I want to say, from the bottom of my heart, happy 2016.
Though this may be a horrible year for many, I feel that sometimes people are pessimistic. They focus on the bad parts of the year.
People dying. Terrorist attacks. Disputes between countries. Political problems.
It has been dubbed “officially the worst year in the history of the universe” on social media, with another adding: “2016 can end any time now.” [1]
But... have we considered the good things?
The Rio Olympics is one. A very successful year for many countries. Then we have the male suicide rate down for 2 consecutive years for 1st time post-recession: esp in middle-aged men who have highest risk. [1]
And then... on June 10... this amazing Amino was created.
It brought people from all over the world, from the Philippines to , from Spain to the USA and from Britain to New Zealand... all uniting to form one heck of a brilliant community.
I really want to thank SMD and EPC for creating such a wonderful Amino.
I also want to thank the Amino Team for... well creating this app.
And... most important of all, I wish to thank all of the amazing people I have met at this Amino. You guys have made an amazing impact on my life. You guys have given me shelter from the hailstorm 2016 has been. And you guys have been so caring and kind... I just... can't put this into words...
I love this Amino and would do anything to make it better.
I feel this is where 'online strangers aren't nice people' shouldn't apply, if not at all.
I have learnt an astonishing amount from this community. I have met many different people, from people who are going through hard times, to people who are amazing at a particular trait, to people who are older than me but still want to be friend.
I feel that the above point is what makes Amino special.
You may have a 8 year age difference, but you can still chat with each other as if you were here same age... in real life, doing so would be unconformable and just somewhat... wrong, weird.
Along with that came the amazing encouragement I received from people. You guys helped me to perservere through my challenges, and I appreciate that ^-^
So... though this sounds overused and untruthful,
Thank you, and have an amazing 2017.

2016 was meh for me. I had a ton of awesome moments but just as much bad.
1.1.2017: 98% fail on Clubstep after collecting 3 coins
2016 isn't too bad for me I made lots of new friends here, got some good stuff irl and that's all.
