Deadlocked Copy feels different while being the same

I Practiced the 12% Wave a lot in my copy and even managed to consistently beat it 61% of the time! (11 out of 18 Times) But now I play the Normal Version and now I only it 4-5% of the time (5 out of 110 attempts) I just don't get why
