This post was made on the 22nd of June, but was ed on the 26th. Anyways, 2.0 introduced a lot of new features. Because of this, people had to figure out how to use the new features. This meant that early 2.0 levels weren't the best. Let's see some of those features that made early 2.0 levels bad.

Griddy Bricks

Look at bricks nowadays in online levels. They are made correctly and are satisfying to look at.

Look at bricks back in early 2.0. They're all griddy and are in no way satisfying to look at.

That wasn't the only level that used the griddy bricks. Lots of early 2.0 levels used these kind of bricks. These were also the kind of levels that were featured! I don't even see how early levels from 2.0 got featured!

Lack Of Easing

With the addition of move triggers, you could make moving objects move with certain easing. You could make the movement of an object bouncy, sharp, or elastic. Since no one really knew about this feature, moving objects in early 2.0 levels had no easing and did not look that satisfying to look at. Even though some people used bounce, they often made the move speed of the objects with bounce easing too fast to give the player satisfaction.

Bad Coloring

Look at how beautiful this dirt and grass is in Geometrical Dominator due to the coloring!

Look at this level. The grass and soil have poor coloring. The sky does as well.

I'm not sure of any other levels with bad colored grass in early 2.0, but there's bound to be some. The Mario levels were probably a victim of bad coloring. Anyways, 2.0 wasn't the only update that had bad coloring in its early days. 2.1 had some bad coloring in its levels as well. Just look at some of the Fingerdash remakes and Indocile Castle.

Fireballs

Due to Deadlocked's boss fight during Robtop's favorite part of the level, people started to make boss fights. Due to the lack of actual fireballs, people started to make their own fireballs. These are 2 examples of what the fireballs looked like.

Sometimes people didn't even make the bosses shoot the fireballs. The just made the boss follow the player as fireballs appeared out of nowhere. Not only that, be the fireballs usually had the bad coloring issue that I discussed earlier.

Monster Misusage

One of the big new features of 2.0 were monsters. Since everyone was excited to use them but didn't exactly know how, early 2.0 levels had monsters that looked like this that don't have their heads rotated,

and monsters that have bad eye coloring. I didn't even know that you could color monsters until I saw pink monsters in a random custom levels. I don't if it was featured or not.

*why all of 2.0 is terrible.
Suggestion? The people that didn't know how to time moving blocks so they would come out of nowhere.
Not to mention the Geometrical Dominator Themed Levels
