Abash

Causes embarrassment to a target.  Skill depends on how severely an individual can be embarrassed.

Abate

Reduces hostile behavior, especially in wild creatures.

Absorb

To soak up a type of damage (magical, physical) in order to spare an ally. This skill can allow an individual to avoid taking a certain amount of damage while simultaneously helping an ally.

Acquire

To take on and learn a new skill that is available for a certain Bloodline, Practice, or offered by a Master of the skill.

Act

To pretend to be someone. Useful in theatre performances and in cases of mistaken identity.

Address

To speak to an individual or more in a diplomatic sense. This can convince others to fight for your cause, your ideas, or even prove how they should totally let you in because there absolutely was a mistake on the guest list.

Adjust

Referring to machines, this is the skill of fine-tuning, upgrading, and perfecting an invention or functional and non-living object made up of gears, springs, and other metallic parts.

Advise

For communicating advice. The importance of this skill varies for whether you are advising a friend or if you are the advisor to a King. What you say can have fire consequences and depending on how well you can word your advice, the individual receiving it may take it a certain way or may only hear what they want to hear.

Animate

Referring to Golaems and bringing them to a level of life described often as the imitation of it. Not every fusion of an energy core and the elemental ingredients of a Golaem are a success.

Announce

It take a certain personality to attract the attention one may want to attract. Not wise to use when someone wants to remain hidden and unnoticed. Good for warning about dangers, a round of drinks on you, or even creating the perfect distraction.

Apologize

Depending on the perso you need to apologize to, and how severely you've broken their trust or lost their friendship you'll need a good apology that can patch things up.

Apply Knowledge

Use the knowledge you have gained to enter a code, solve a puzzle, speak a , and more.

Argue

Use evidence gathered to your stance or prove something. At least three pieces of basic evidence, two pieces of moderate evidence or one piece of strong evidence is needed to make a case.

Arise

In a pivotal point of a conflict or in the situation of rising tension, you'll need the nerve to arise and stand up for an individual, cause or idea. This skill is only held by those who have the guts to speak up.

Arrange

Organizational skill that permits the structure necessary for secret meetings, battle plans, and pulling a few strings in order to give an individual an advantage.

Arrest

A skill of stopping, looking over, searching, and confiscating contraband from an individual. This skill allows you to find live creatures or objects on or in the body of an individual. Most guards have this skill.

Ask

A gentle version of the skill Interrogate. Being nice about your inquiries may reap more answers from certain individuals.

Assert

Used in situations where one would assume they have higher authority where they have little or no say. This skill depends on how likely an individual can convince others that they have a say in any given situation.

Assort

To properly place or identify the classification or name of an object especially when dealing with Fauna, Flora, tools of a Practice, or otherwise what one may or may not be well versed in.

Astonish

To impress another. Skill indicates how well a target individual is impressed. An attempt to astonish may earn oneself Respect or Reknown.

Attack

The act of inflicting damage as a means to scare, maim, kill, fix or destroy a target. Actions for targets of low thresholds require low attack values and targets of high thresholds require high attack values.

Attend to Wounds

The skill of properly cleaning and dressing wounds. Some may be versed in physical based wounds while others are more versed in magical based wounds.

Attract

By using certain ingredients certain creatures can be enticed to approach individual's against their better judgement. This skill is great for hunters that would like to lure in prey.

Audit

A professional and official inspection according to a set of rules typically issued by a government or organization.

Awaken

Revives unconscious or sleeping creatures and beings. A staple of healers and those in tune with nature.
