Here's a few comparisons I made very quickly between The Curator (aka Mr. Ponds) with the man himself, Grunkle Stan. Personally, what are my thoughts on this...Amphibia's homage to Gravity Falls? Simply put...I love it!! I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT! This episode is amazing!! Both as an episode of Amphibia, and an homage to one of the greatest cartoons ever made. Even in frog form, it was nice to see Grunkle Stan, the shack, and that Gravity Falls vibe once again. I am a bit sad frog Dipper and Mabel weren't in it, but I also feel that. it didn't hurt the episode much. It made for an epic tale...made to feel like it happened before that crazy summer, and of course, it was a great tribute by Matt Braly to the show that helped kick off his career!

Him and his team seriously did an incredible job. I had high hopes for this episode from the get go, and oh boy, did it deliver. It makes me happy to know that even in 2020, over 4 and a half years on from its end, Gravity Falls is still so loved and ed.

It's honestly come in full circles now. Gravity Falls had times where it paid tribute and made references to other shows, like Twin Peaks, Rick and Morty, etc. Now we've reached the point where new shows pay tribute and make references to it.

As long as there's someone keeping its memory alive, then, as the now 3 and a half year old saying says...

Gravity Falls will always be real...and it will never die.

Um could someone correct me if I'm wrong here but is the frog version of Grunkle Stan a bad guy in this episode it's just based on some pictures it kinda looks like it
