It’s been two years since The Great Comet closed

It’s officially been two years since The Great Comet closed on Broadway and I’m still heartbroken over it, although it has had a Japanese and multiple Brazilian productions for which I’m grateful. I recall very clearly seeing Amber Gray, a mixed race woman and an alto performing Charming and going “oh, wait.... that’s...me, I could totally do that.” It changed and expanded my perspective on theatre and gave me a new appreciation for the diversity and creativity of humanity.
