Kelce was a two star recruit and his only big scholarships were from Cincinnati, Eastern Michigan, Akron, and Miami Ohio. ing Cincinnati to his brother, Jason, who was a center for them. Redshirting his first year, in his second year he played both Tight End and Quarterback. He racked up 8 rushes for 47 yards and two touchdowns, and 1 reception. Then his third year he did not play through out the year due to breaking a team rule. His final season in college he played tight end and caught 13 receptions for 150 yards and two touchdowns.
Kelce was drafted by the Chiefs in the third round with the 63rd pick. Though he got put on injury reserved after one game. Next year Kelce became the teams receiving leader with 862 yards with 67 receptions. The next year he would make his first All-star game as he caught 72 receptions for 875 yards while scoring 5 touchdowns. Then in the 2016 season Kelce would make his second All-star game and first all-pro while getting 85 receptions for 1,125 yards. While also racking up 634 yards after reception which was first among tight ends. This year he has potential to make his third All-star game and double his touchdowns then last year. This year he has a total of 21 receptions for 255 yards.
