You also should never put anything like a dress on a guinea pig!
It's extremely stressful and as guinea pigs are highly prey animals anything overly stressful can lead to a heart attack or other problems.
Guinea pigs also have very very weak backs. If any pressure is put on them at all it can cause severe damage and a lot of pain.
Even if the pig is calm there's still a possibility of the pig getting spooked, and seriously injuring itself.
It only damages the pig and there is no good reason to do it.
