Sad News

Hi everyone I just want to inform you all and say Teddy isn't doing very well. I had to take him to the after hours vet due to really worrying breathing where he was immediately placed on oxygen. Vet thought it was an upper respiratory infection or he was in pain but turns out its much worse. He went to the standard vet today as his breathing hasn't improved since starting antibiotics. They x-ray him and they were shocked to find his diaphragm has ruptured. He also had symptoms of asthma which is very uncommon so he's a bit special. Now got anti inflammatory tablets and just watch and see how he goes; but I may have to make the decision that we all dread. Just sad as he only just turned 1 so makes everything harder as I can't stop thinking about that factor but for some reason this is what life what does to us. Guess I'm thankful for my experience working at a vet clinic as I have a different perspective on these situations but doesn't make that choice any easier.
