so before we get started with the blog, this is for the posts you've probably seen on the featured page:

for this blog it took maybe a few weeks? i have no idea, but i have 11 edits and songs to go with them. these are all made with ibis paint x and canva. the filters are also canva filters, so many and many combinations i've forgotten. the filter categories i used were duotone and photogenic.

in this edit i went for a pink and green colour scheme, because it's alex fierro, the green haired pottery expert! the fanart is by santan (link above) and it's very good *chef's kiss* but yeah the song is from the mean girls musical, sang by my queen, barrett wilbert weed! i really love how this turned out! alex is a great character overall and i love his/her confidence.

in this edit i said green. green because of her hijab, and the green represents the calm and down to earth character that sam is. sam is an icon and i adore her character and her arch. she makes me think of my old friend's and newer friend's family (also from the same religion as sam, always rocking the hijabs) and personally i really respect the hijabi people, they're very good people, and i've gotten so much good advice from them. my respect is through the roof.

hazel levesque:

halo - beyoncé

i found a way to let you in, but i never really had a doubt, standing in the light of your halo, i got my angel now.

i chose yellow for hazel, because it's a happy and hufflepuff colour. i honestly think hazel and frank are the most underrated of the seven, she's very kind and i love her a lot.

annabeth chase:

where there is desire, there is gonna be a flame, where there is a flame, someone's bound to get burned.

annabeth is a good character, but there are a lot of people who don't like her very much, i can understand why, she comes off as bossy, but yeah i personally don't have a huge opinion on her. i used the aesthetic light academia for her because she's, well, annabeth.

piper mclean:

prom queen - beach bunny

maybe i should try harder, you should lower your expectations, i'm no quick-curl barbie. i was never cut out for prom queen.

i don't understand why people dislike piper, i read a lot of things about people not liking her because of her self esteem, as someone who relates to her in this way, i think it's unfair to dislike someone based on their self esteem, because honestly, smugness is more obnoxious, in some ways. anygay, i went for a very lesbian-esque aesthetic. i like how it turned out.

nico di angelo:

new americana - halsey

young james dean, some say he looks just like his father, but he, could never love somebody's daughter. football team, he loved more than just the game, so he vowed, to be, his husband at the alter.

i really love nico. he has a lot of character development and we love his character ark. i'm really glad that he found someone who can look out for him and keep him safe. he's really cool and i love him. also his personality? yes it's awesome and it gives me so much joy that there's (healthy) lgbtq+ representation!

people say that will is only hyped because of nico. but i personally believe that will is a great character and nico only gave him some spotlight. he makes me think of my friends and i love the sunshine boi. will definitely deserves all the love.

leo valdez

insane, inside the danger gets me high, can't help myself got secrets i can't tell. i love the smell of gasoline, i light the match to taste the heat.

in this edit i did orange, red and black because fire. leo is a great character and i love him. i can't think of a different voice from the one my sister does for him, it's just really great. i really love the memes with leo too.

frank zhang:

you can count on me like one, two, three, i'll be there. and i know when i need it, i can count on you like four, three, two, and you'll be there. 'cause that's what friends are supposed to do, oh, yeah

personally i love frank, he's a sweet character and he deserves more love. out of the seven he's the most underrated followed by hazel. people who don't like him, i don't understand. for the edit i went with red and black, red because of the heritage, china's lucky colour is red and canada is all about the red. (these facts are correct because i have a chinese friend who told me this and i'm canadian.)

jason grace

if i die young, bury me in satin, lay me down on a bed of roses. sink me in the river, at dawn, send me away with the words of a love song.

now personally, out of the seven jason is my least favorite character. why? i don't know he's just not my favorite. but i do appreciate his character, acting like a father (or big brother) figure to nico, and i don't think he deserved to die the way he did.

percy jackson

you can go the distance, you can run the mile, you can walk straight through hell with a smile, you can be a hero, you can get the gold, breakin' all the records they thought never could be broke, yeah.

last but not least, percy jackson! for percy i went with a blue colour scheme because, well, it's percy, it's self explanatory. percy is the og dude, and it's no wonder why he's here. i really love his character and i love the development of him and his family, i don't have any issues with his character to be honest!
