Dark clouds floated over the land, becoming only darker and darker each ing minute. Soon they covered the moon, blocking out almost all of its light.

A bolt of lightning struck down on the earth.

“Arley!"

A young woman, about the age of 20 sat up, her eyes darting around her surroundings. She then looked down to her left, a soft sigh escaped her lips as she saw a small bundle in a sleeping bag.

The girl got up, dusting her outfit running her fingers through her brown locks. She fixed her dark-green shirt, then the brown cape that she wore. She then covered her head with her cap, only her face and her green eyes were visible.

“Myra...?"

Myra's eyes quickly looked over at the sleeping bag. A little girl was now visible, her chocolate brown eyes seemed tired, her strawberry blonde hair was a mess, most likely because the little girl kept tossing and turning.

“... I'm here Ari, don't worry." Myra softly spoke, she then looked up at the sky and sighed. It wouldn't take long before the rain would be pouring down, Myra knew that it was time for them to grab their things and head home.

“Arley, it's time to get up. We should start walking if we want to arrive home before morning." Myra spoke, grabbing her blanket and folding it up, before slipping it into her bag.

Arley let out a yawn, moving her arms over her head as she stretched. Without a word she got out of her sleeping bag and rolled it up, putting it in her bag. She then grabbed a plush, putting it in her bag too.

“I'll fix your hair once we're home. Can you take care of the fire?" Myra asked, putting her bag on her back. Arley followed her example, her bag was much smaller than Myra's. That was because she was still young, being only eight years old while Myra was 20.

“Okay." Arley muttered, letting out another yawn.

Arley stretched once more, cracking her fingers before lowering her hand to the ground. The earth slowly moved, then flew onto the burning flames, causing it to go out within a good ten seconds.

Myra watched, a small smile on her face, she then looked around.

“Good Job, little sister, alright, we have everything. I think we can head home now, lets-"

Myra was cut off by a scream.

She tensed, looking around. Arley let out a small gasp, quickly running to Myra, hiding behind her. Myra took a moment to look around, then looked in the direction the screaming came from. Another scream was heard, was that...

Was that a cry for help?

“Arley, someone needs our help, let's go!" Myra spoke, Arley nodded, watching as Myra started to run as fast as she could. The little girl followed in her trails.

A third cry filled the air, Myra ran even faster. It didn't take long before they arrived at a lake. Myra knew this place, the screaming came from here but where?

“Myra!"

Myra immediately looked down at Arley, who was pointing up at the sky. She immediately followed her finger, her eyes widening at the sight of someone hanging at the edge of a cliff. But then they fell, a fourth scream ran out.

Myra threw her bag off within seconds, Arley grabbed hold of it, immediately stepping backward. Myra took a deep breath, taking a stance. She then swung her hands around, summoning a burst of wind that she shot forwards after spinning around once.

The wind slowed their fall, but it wasn't enough to fully stop their fall. Myra watched as they hit the ground with a loud thud, then rolled into the water of the lake.

“Shit!" Myra cursed, running forwards. She threw off her cape, then jumped into the air, shooting a burst of wind under her, giving herself a big leap. She landed into the water, then immediately started swimming towards the person who was by now sinking.

Arley could only watch with big eyes as her sister dove under the water, disappearing out of sight. She placed around, her eyes staring at the water. Then after a few seconds, Myra emerged, with someone in her arms.

She looked around with big eyes, her sister wasn't that great at swimming, and having to keep someone up wasn't helping! She could see that Myra was struggling and needed help, suddenly something caught her eye.

There was a figure on top of the cliff where that person had just been hanging from.

“Help!" She cried out, wildly waving her arms around.

The figure looked over at her, then at the two people in the water. They took a stand, lifting their hands upwards. The water slowly moved upwards, then with a firm push, the water flow in the direction of the shore.

Myra was pushed towards the shore with quite a bit of force, but luckily she wasn't hurt. She swam the last bit towards the shore, dragging the person out of the water.

“Myra!" Arley ran over to her, then knelt next to the person while her sister took a deep breath, Arley grabbed the person's cap and removed it from their head, revealing a boy. His head was bleeding badly, he had probably hit it in the fall.

Myra knelt, then pointed at her bag. Arley didn't need to ask what she wanted, she ran towards the bag and picked it up, dragging it with her, back to Myra.

She then loudly gasped, moving her head towards the water.

A wave of water was created, and the person who once stood on the cliff jumped down and dove into the water, the water then dropped and they swam over, once onshore they ran over to the two girls and the wounded boy.

They removed their cap, revealing a girl with short shoulder-length brown hair and eyes with a tanned skin tone.

“I tried to call out to him, but he kept running. Thank God you were there when he fell." She quickly spoke, kneeling at the boy his side. Myra took a glance at her, then back at the boy.

“He's alive, but his injuries are bad, are you a healer?" She asked. The girl shook her head, Arley plopped the bag next to Myra, Myra opened it, taking out some old bandages.

“These will stop the bleeding, but we need to get him into something warmer, he might freeze." She spoke, the stranger quickly pushed herself up.

“I can take care of that!" She spoke, placing her hands over the boy, she then raised them. Water flew out of his clothes and cap, Arley stared at the girl with big eyes, clearly in awe.

“Impressive, I'll bandage him. Then we need to go, do you know a healer nearby?" Myra asked, wrapping the bandage around the boy's head. He flinched just slightly but didn't move.

“Yes, I will take you to her. But let me help you with your clothes." She spoke, flicking her hands. Myra felt the cold fading slightly as the water was removed from her clothes. Her hair remained a bit damp, but that didn't matter.

“Thank you, I'm Myra, that's Arley." Myra quickly spoke, she carefully pulled the boy up, wrapping one of his arms around her shoulders. The other girl took his other arm after removing the water from her clothes, wrapping it around her shoulder.

“Teressa, don't thank me yet. Thank me once we get to the healer." She spoke, Myra nodded. She shot Arley a glance, then started to walk. Arley quickly ran back, grabbing her sister's cape, stuffing it in Myra's bag.

She then chased after the two girls as they walked deeper into the woods.

For some reason a part of me wants to see Alex lose his memory from the fall, but another part of me is slapping the first part in the face and saying “NO! Stop asking for this every time someone hits their head and falls unconscious in a story!” in a stern yet tired tone of voice.
