Hmm, I may be stupid and miss the explanation of Flaky's fear of chicks, but I today I came up with a scenario. A scenario about what if one time Flaky killed one of the chicks and then the army of angry birds attacked her. That would make her scarred for life.
While writing this I also thought of Flaky ing her deaths with one of hers in "Take a hike" hahh. But I may talk all wrong, that episode came out later anyway
