𝐇𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐌𝐀𝐆𝐈𝐂 𝐎𝐖𝐋 || 𝐀𝐇²⁴

Hello and welcome, for our History of Magic owls we were told to pick a person that we’ve learnt about and talk about what kind of magical school they would create.

Aditi and Aditya were twins from India. The two were ambitious about helping others hence why they were healers. They also conversed with animals, it is possible the two were animagi themselves since they could shapeshift into various different animals. Aditi and Aditya treated everyone equally no matter what. You could be a muggle or have magical blood and you’d still be a friend rather than a foe to the sisters.

sᴄʜᴏᴏʟ ɴᴀᴍᴇ: Vriksha Vidya Academy

They’d pick this name as it means Tree of Knowledge Academy in Sanskrit. The twins are also ambitious in all things nature.

ᴍᴏᴛᴛᴏ: Unity with Nature and Life, Wisdom in Magic

ʟᴏᴄᴀᴛɪᴏɴ: The school lies deep within one of India’s beautiful forests. Ecosystems like waterfalls, rivers, and an infinite amount of tree and flower breeds surround the castle allowing the students to take in the beauty of nature at any time. There are also many different species of magical creatures surrounding the academy allowing the students to have a companion to talk to without the fear of being judged.

They would pick this location as it fits with their interests and they can use this beauty to assist them with their classes.

ᴘʀᴏᴛᴇᴄᴛɪᴠᴇ ᴍᴇᴀsᴜʀᴇs: The castle may be seen by muggle explorers but if they approach the castle there are signs asking the person to kindly leave. If they ignore the signs there are guards (that will only use weapons if threatened) that will kindly guide the person away, further embracing how the twins love everyone as no violent action are allowed to take place unless it is deemed unnecessary.

This school would stand out and become infamous for its harmonious blend of magic, nature, and ancient wisdom, producing wizards and witches who are not only powerful but also deeply connected and thoughtful to the world around them.

The students would start the Academy at age 11 and finish at 18. By the time they finish they will have learnt how to embrace their magic successfully and know how to use it safely.

The curriculum is as follows:

Herbology & Healing

Straight from the moment they Vriksha Vidya, they learn all about how plants can help with healing. Due to the twin’s experience in this field, students will end up being prepared for whatever is thrown their way.

Mystical and Magical Creatures

The castle is surrounded by all sorts of wonderful creatures so it’s expected to have magical creatures as a subject. In this class, students learn how to look after and respect the creatures surrounding the castle and many more.

Interdisciplinary Studies

In this class, muggle and magic is united. When there were mentions about muggles the twins would speak very highly of them. This class would go over things magical and muggle and compare the similarities and differences

History of India

This class will talk about the history of India, from battles to what their well known traditions today were like back then. This class will help the students understand and appreciate their history that they may not have known earlier.

Sacred Magic & Ancient Rituals

Due to the potential confusing nature, this class is only available for third years and over. This class goes over ancient Indian magic, rituals, and spells that invoke the power of nature, the elements, and deities.

Animagi Studies & Shapeshifting

Only a fifth year or above could take this class. This class goes over the art of transforming into various animals, drawing inspiration from the sisters' rumored abilities. Students would learn to communicate with animals, understand their instincts, and eventually master the ability to shapeshift. The students will become animagi under Aditi and Adityas careful supervision in towards the end of year five then for the next years after they would learn how to control and make the transformations easier.

Vanaspati (Flora)

Vanaspati students are sympathetic and nurturing with a love for plants and healing. They flourish in the Herbology and healing subjects, they love to look after the vast greenery land that surrounds the castle. Their emblem is a lotus, to symbolise purity and growth.

Pakshi (Bird)

Pakshi students are known for their wisdom and love for exploration. They flourish in Animagi studies and the younger students look up to the older students with eager eyes, being excited to be able to transform into their very own animal. Their emblem is an eagle, symbolising freedom but also their love for exploring.

Bhumi (Earth)

Bhumi students are grounded, strong, and dependable, with a profound connection to the earth and its elements. They are skilled in ancient rituals and protective magic. Their emblem is a mountain, representing stability and tolerance.

Megha (Cloud)

Megha students are creative, mysterious, and ever-changing, much like clouds. They excel in weather magic and enchantments, often bringing an air of unpredictability to their magic, although their magic skills are loved by everyone. Their emblem is a storm cloud, symbolizing their ability to change.

The students are given a lotus flower that when placed in water, the thing that happens determines the house you are in.

If you are a Vanaspati a mini lotus flower will come out of the lotus

For Pakshi a small bird will fly out of the centre of the lotus

If you are a Bhumi small pebbles will flow out of the flower

For Megha a cloud that looks like smoke will come out of the lotus

Don’t think you can sneak your child in though as if someone unwanted gets a lotus as soon as it touches the water it’ll fall apart right in front of everyones prying eyes.

Vriksha Vidya Academy has a unique sport that you wouldn’t normally see anywhere else due to health and safety reasons.

Tree climbing competitions are something that everyone can partake in if they wish to.

A small walk from the castle there are a group of trees all enchanted to stay the same height but also so that they do not get harmed from all the climbing.

Sometimes it’ll be a solo race but others it’ll be a group race where the fastest team to get all four players up and down the tree the fastest will win which means it can get very competitive but the team spirit is amazing

The sport not only helps make friends but also creates house unity as you are all there to watch the sport and the people you go to school with.

The traditions here can also be classed as a unique aspect as they have never been seen before. They are as follows:

Festival of Transformation

An annual event where students showcase their progress in animagi studies, often celebrated with grand ceremonies invoking the blessings of nature.

Healing Ceremonies

Regular rituals dedicated to healing the land, animals, and people, connecting the entire school community with the world around them, inspired by Aditi and Aditya’s healer skills.

Inclusivity

The school would emphasize equality between all beings, whether magical or non-magical, human or animal.

Spiritual Growth

Students would be encouraged to meditate, reflect, and grow spiritually, aligning their magical abilities with a deep sense of purpose and responsibility.

Community Service

A strong focus on using magic for the betterment of society, preserving the environment, and helping others, especially your schoolmates.
