No Progress

The couple came back to the hotel empty handed with no sinners and just before Victor went to lay face down on the couch, Alastor met up with them.

Alastor: So, how was your attempt at recruiting loathsome sinners?

Lyra: No luck. Aside from all of us, those sinners are all the fucking same.

Alastor: There's always tomorrow in hopes of any type of change that could get Charlie's dream of redemption moving forward.

Victor: It doesn't help when those people have no interest in fixing themselves for what they did. I also can't stand them even looking in Lyra's general direction.

Alastor: Is that so? I do suppose they are attempting their own methods on wanting to stay here, but I'm sure you were able to handle it.

Victor: I did, but still, we have made no progress.

Alastor: It's nothing to worry about, Victor. You know Charlie will understand. She and her girlfriend tried it themselves and ended up with the same results. Nothing to be ashamed of, my friend.

Victor: And where is Charlie?

Alastor: Upstairs babysitting your baby.

Lyra: Technically, she's not really a baby anymore, but she's a toddler now.

Alastor: Regardless, she's doing well.
