Tip #1

when trading, be cautious when trading down or up. you should always be looking for items high in demand. for example, trading down your long for shorts is a bad idea. most people would prefer to have a long collar than a short, so you should prioritize trading up long collars. if you have a purple long and someone trades you an orange long and a bunch of clothing betas, dont accept. most people aren’t looking for cbs and orange longs are looked down upon. just because their trade is worth your item, doesn’t mean that someone will accept those items and add for something more.

Tip #2

know. your. rares. do your research. no one wants to trade with someone who is mindlessly throwing items of bad value for their black long. it isnt hard to memorize worths of high demand items. go to the animal jam item worth wiki for accurate values and demands.

Tip #3

When trading, I suggest you play the stock market with masterpieces. Since masterpieces have a wavering value depending on demand, I suggest you trade low for people’s unwanted masterpieces. Then, you can trade them off at a higher price to people who specifically look for art! You could go from a couple of clothing betas to good spikes.

Tip #4

Don’t just trade in the Aldan Server! Aldan has the title of most populated server, and is almost always full. It’s a great place to get big trades done and search for people with big rares, but if you’re looking for some small trades I advise you to go to another server. From experience, other worlds have a bigger variety of trades going on and not everything is about “solids” and headdresses.

Tip #5

If you’re ever watching any video/ tutorial on how to trade or what the value of items are; always make sure the tutorial isn’t outdated. As discussed before, the trading system is always changing, and it’s good to always stay informed to not get scammed and to be a successful trader.

Tip #6

Sometimes, items have the “rare” label on them, even if they don’t have much of a worth. Scammers usually use this label to trick Jammers into thinking an item has a high value. Be smart and don’t be scared into constantly checking the system; even if you are an experienced jammer.

Tip #7

Don’t do overtrades! If someone declines your overtrade, move on to a different person so you don’t end up losing more. Find many different people with the item you want and someone will be bound to accept your undertrade/trade. Also, make sure you know your rarity for the items that you plan to trade so you won’t lose more than you should.

Tip #8

Don’t buy overpriced items in stores. I believe one den beta should be priced as 50-60 diamonds. If it’s any more than 75 diamonds, they’re overpriced. From my experience, you can find cheaper den betas in other stores for 20-40 diamonds.

My number one trading tip I ALWAYS tell everyone is dont get scammed! The wikis are there for a reason. (Worth and regular)

You can do your own research on them and ask for help in the comments. Always do research and/or get 2nd opinions! Theres also a whole wiki dedicated to telling you all about scams and how to avoid which ones too. And "hacks"

Enter giveaways but be smart about it. If they ask for items, they are scamming. Why would they giveaway items to the rarest people? Wouldnt they want to help kickstart a nm or new person ornnon rare person if they were truly quitting? Why would they even need you to accept? Also if they're on a nm or new jammer with not a lot of items besides the rares, not a lot of animals, etc , those are all rare flags.
