the name’s garde, and welcome to another craft post.

wow, i haven't made a craft in so long, what with vacation and school. anyways, i finally found the time to create this little cute decoration, a clay version of aj's giant pumpkin den item!

you will need

orange clay

green clay

a toothpick

step one

form three balls of orange clay, one around 3/4 inch in diameter and the other two around half hat size.

step two

flatten the tops of each.

step three

using your toothpick, carve eight lines at equal intervals around the body of each pumpkin.

step four

set aside your pumpkins and get out your green clay. form a very thin snake, around four inches long. now create 20 - 25 leaf shapes.

step five

using your toothpick, etch lines into the bottom of each of your leaves.

step six

arrange your pumpkins in a triangle-ish shape.

put around 3/4 of your snake along the tops of your pumpkins, adding twists and turns.

use the rest of your snake to create a y shape and put this in between the largest pumpkin, and one of the smaller ones.

form a semi-ring of your leaves, and place your three pumpkins on this. then, layer your leaves around the front, being sure to curve to top leaves upwards.

finally, if any of it's falling apart, spread clay between the parts that need to be connected, making it as unnoticeable as possible.

step seven

if your clay is baking clay, bake as instructed on its box.

you're now done, use however you wish!
