the name’s garde, and welcome to another craft post.

today, i present a diy small table. this probably took one to two hours to make, but it was definitely worth it! i absolutely loved how it turned out, and my animal jam plushies look perfect with it?!

let’s hop right on in, shall we?

you will need

popsicle sticks

blue paint

green paint

red paint

a pencil

scissors

liquid glue

a paintbrush

step one

line the popsicle sticks besides each other. with your pencil, add lines in the places shown. leave the two middle sticks unmarked.

step two

cut along the outer lines of the marked sticks. apply glue to the middle piece (the piece without a curve), and line the other pieces on the middle piece as shown to make a smaller stick.

step three

repeat step two for the three other marked sticks.

step four

cut a popsicle stick in half, and glue each half to the bottoms of the largest sticks. let glue dry.

step five

line the sticks besides each other (bottom-up), with the largest two in the middle and getting smaller outwards. cut a popsicle stick in half, and glue each half along the table length to connect the six main sticks.

step six

mix a little blue paint with a little green paint. do the same with blue and red. set these aside, along with some blue paint.

step seven

flip the table over. paint the stick second to left green-blue, and paint the stick second to right red-blue. paint the other sticks blue.

step eight

cut the ends off of two popsicle sticks to have four one-inch (two and a half centimeter) end pieces. paint one side of each blue. let paint dry.

step nine

flip the table over. glue the legs equally spaced around the table, blue side facing outwards.

cut a popsicle stick into small pieces. glue them to the outer part of the table legs and to the table to create s.
