• What ARE “Props”? •

You may be wondering, what are the props you are talking about?

Props are the ability to go onto ’s posts and favorite to give them some amino coins! These coins can show appreciation, , or just the want to donate some coins! Although this is a nice feature, we must not abuse our privileges. This post is meant for just a tiny update on rules regarding this newest upgrade.

IPhone s may not have the upgrade YET, although this is for those who do have the upgrade. If you are using iOS, once you’re given props, the notification will temporarily look like this!~

• How Do I Give “Props”? •

- Step One -

Giving props is easy! When you have the upgrade you may go to the bottom of a post or favorite and see this, which is a button you can press to give the amino coins to the author of the post~

- Step Two -

Once you click that button, you are able to give an amount of amino coins, the maximum being 100 coins. You may choose between three amounts, or you are able to type an amount in manually, as seen here~

- Extra -

When you give or receive props, you will get a notification. Two of which can be someone thanking you for the props, and Vice versa, or a notification explaining that someone has given you props on a certain post. Once you thank someone clicking the tiny hand symbol within the list of people who gave you props, a chat button will show up! Examples of these can be shown here~

You are also able to see how many people gave the props, along with who those s are! An example of this can be seen below~

• Posting About “Props” •

~ Spam ~

To avoid spam, we are not allowing posts of any kind to be made regarding the topic of “please donate props to me!” We are not allowing donation posts circling props, as it is similar to our other rules on directly asking for follows, likes, artwork, and gifts. If we do witness any posts regarding the asking for props, they will be immediately disabled for spam.

~ Commissions ~

We agree that amino coins would be excellent for commissions, which is why we are allowing them to be given for commissions! Please be careful and safe when using the coins for commissions, once you give them, there’s no getting them back. But as said before, it is an excellent way to use the advantage of props!

I’m personally loving this new upgrade! It was an excellent idea for Team Amino’s part in my own opinion! If you happen to have any questions regarding props, don’t hesitate to ask the staff!
