that could be people, situations, opportunities~

pretty much anything.

just looking at things differently, and not assuming and judging things from the bad, will make a pretty huge difference in how you look at things.

and God. promise me I know it’s hard. Hard to look past their faults and bad things. It’s almost back-breaking hard to walk into a terrible situation in your life, a large mountain and obstacle, and look for the good in it.

we all honestly think sometimes “their is no way this day/year is going to get better. It’s been awful” or “(s)he’s a terrible person. No way they have an ounce of goodness in them”

that’s speaking negatively, though! we all need to kick ourselves for saying that~ we are giving up hope for them practically.

yep, they have many faults. But do we really have that right to judge? Are we any better as a person? Yes, we might make better decisions, and thus not have consequences, but morally are we superior? Everyone has goodness in them. Everyone.

they might have encased a shell around the goodness they have, they might think lashing out or making bad decisions makes them noticed. But they are still people. And I’m sure they are not comfortable with their life, or satisfied.

and if we go around talking bad about them, we aren’t seeing the good. Think about nice things of the people you dislike the most. “Well, (s)he has a pretty smile.” Hey! That’s something.

let us not judge people that seem bad to us. I promise none of us are any better.

this is a controversial question, and I don’t really have an answer for it. You see, that’s really up to YOU.

these people might be a bad influence, and might hurt you. You just need to be aware that they could possibly lead you into situations you’d rather not be in. Just be cautious, and do what’s best for you and your morals. If you want to try to get them to become a better person, do it if you feel the need! But just , you don’t necessarily have to be best buds with that person, but at least be nice to them when you can.

though they might be hard as a shell with their feelings, and act like nothing hurts them, things actually do.

if we talk behind their backs, laugh at them, cringe away when they near, it hurts them personally. You might think “well they act like a bully. they beat you up if you offend them.” They are just misled, and confused. They don’t know any other way. So, when you encounter these people, that are just bad in your eyes, they are human. They’ve probably just been taught wrongly, or taking out their anger in fighting, or doing something harmful to their body.

how to help them? We might not be able to help them, but we can try. Leave them an anonymous note of encouragement, or get them help if they are dealing with drugs, or other harmful things. Consult your teacher, or parents. Maybe you could help them. See the good in these people, that can still be brought out.

yes, I know. Our mods make bad decisions. Disagreeable, controversial, sometimes wrong. BUT

they are only trying to do what’s best for this community. They try so hard to please us, and I know and have seen that is stresses them out sometimes. If we constantly look at the bad side of them, their faults, we aren’t appreciating what they’ve done.

we go around complaining, but hey? we’ve got problems too, hon. It’s not just the staff. Our community is loving and kind, but also opinionated and complaining sometimes. Give them love for what they do right. Constructive criticism? Hey that’s okay! But publicly bashing them and destructively and verbally hurting them? That’s wrong~

just. See the good! They’ve brought us a longgg way.
