People, often times, take things for granted. We're all guilty of it. You probably take your phone for granted. But think about this; 50 years ago, cell phones didn't exist. We didn't have apps that, with one touch, we could communicate with people across the world. I have friends from South Korea, the Mediterranean, Australia!

Which leads me to another point. Taking your friends for granted. Friends, of course, are the people you talk to when you want to get away from your family. The people who stick with you, and stand up for you. Can you imagine life without friends? I sure can't. I wouldn't be a heckin curator without a few amazing souls here to help me along the way.

Who ever thought that there would be an app, and inside of it, millions of apps, each about one thing? Who ever thought that they would be able to geek out over Animal Jam in middle school, in high school, in college without being embarrassed?

This community is a huge family. Even I it to sometimes taking you guys are granted. This community gave me a place to express myself, and talk about a game I love.

If you ever start to feel like you don't have anyone, please, look back into your tiny little screen. There's thousands of people here for you, many feeling the same way you do.

It's hard, I know, but my challenge for you, is to next time you're scrolling through the feed, talking to a friend, or making a post, just how lucky you are to have all of this and more.

If you can't make yourself get out of that mind frame of taking things for granted, try thinking about someone who doesn't have what you do. Or think about a time in your life when you didn't have this stuff.

Basically, I just want you to just how much you do have, and be thankful for it. Don't take things you live for granted.
