recently, vogue became official!

we would like to thank the staff

team for this amazing

opportunity!

sadly, team aja lost last week,

therefore they didn’t receive any

prizes. we would like to thank

them for participating, though!

every week, our group decides

on a theme. all models receive

the same basket, containing an

animal and an item that they

must use. baskets are decided

by the viewers of the previous

magazine.

after, each model will make an

outfit based on the theme.

then, the decorator creates an

area in their den that goes with

the theme and the edit or takes

a screenshot of the model and

edits.

after that, all the pictures are

put together in the weekly

magazines. each model will be

interviewed and then the

viewers can choose the outfit

that best suits the theme. the

model with the least amount

of votes will be given a penalty,

which is decided by the model

with the most votes.

1) The word ‘renaissance’ is a

French word which means

‘rebirth’.

2) The Renaissance period

was the succeeding epoch of

the Middle Ages which was

the gap defining the classical

and modern period.

3) During the 14th century, the

philosophy of humanism began

to emerge in Italy.

4) The invention of movable

printing press revolutionized

communication and publication

in Europe.

5) In addition, the growth in

trade and commerce between

the East and West set the

stage for the Renaissance.

since team 2 & 5 got last place,

their penalty is to use pink for

their main fur color. let’s see

how they incorporated it into

their outfit!

,, explain your outfit. why did

you use the items you chose?

i went for a red and grey theme

because i thought that looked

pretty hot. i chose the

steampunk monocle because it

gave me renaissance vibes. i

chose the ribbon scarf because

it also looked renaissance-y. i

chose the plaid sweater since it

complemented the scarf. lastly,

i used the wristwatch since it

was in the basket.

,, explain your outfit. why did

you use the items you chose?

I used the pink as the main fur

color because that was the

penalty for getting last place. I

chose the dress because some

girls wore big poofy dresses in

the Renaissance period. I

picked the necklace because it

wasn’t too fancy but still went

with the look. I chose the tiara

because it was like the only

head item that matched the

look and theme :flushed: I chose the

tail item because well... It

matches lol. Then the wrist

watch was in the basket.

i honestly don’t know,, your mags

do tend to get a little long and I

I quite like vogue magazines!

They are fun and are a great way

don’t really have any suggestions,

but I loon forward to seeing what

Hello, my name’s SnowyStar

and I’m an aspiring artist and

jammer since 2015.

2. what’s your favorite outfit that

vogue has done so far?

My favorite outfit is probably

the first giraffe from the Paris

magazine or the fourth team’s

flamingo in the underwater

theme. I really like simple looks

and the colors were pleasing

to my eyes.

I like how inclusive vogue is

about every talent- writing,

editing, den decorating,

dres etc. I also like how

you leave plenty of room for

creativity with the themes and

have a little competition going

on too.

here are some tips from our

very own models!

use contrasting colors! try not

to mix colors that don’t match

well with a theme, such as orange

and green for an ocean theme.

instead use more of a blue / cyan

theme.

decorating tips

here are some tips from vogue’s

den decorators!

stick with one theme while

making dens. you shouldn’t

make a den with the theme of

nature with city themed items, or

vice versa. try to use one theme

the entire time, as well as use

colors that match that theme.

editing tips

here are some tips from the

editors of vogue!

You should use a mix of overlays,

so not everything should be

opaque, to make it feel less

cluttered; you should also try

using similar or complimenting

colour shades with overlays or

effects between and/or at the end

to give it more depth, rather than

an one color schematic, unless

that is what you are going for. More

often that none, playing around

with effects and filters afterwards

may lead you to find an effect or

effects that look good on your edit,

and you are able to create multiple

versions if you so wish!
