so i was kinda debating between what to write for this day 18, and so i decided to make a short playlist for the summer - made up of nct dream songs ~

O1 - life is still going on

a new song from their latest album (well, not so latest) life is still going on is one of my current summer favourites. from its catchy chorus to the sudden drop at the beginning, life is still going on is a perfect song to vining to next to a pool or while on a car trip.

O2 - we young

released in 2017, we young is the perfect summer song. the dreamies are adorable as usual, but i love the way the melody is stricter. the song utilises its rhythm and chords extremely well, and there is a sweet ‘under the sea’ chord reference over here as well! it’s become one of my fast favourites lately, and definitely ranks high on my summer playlist.

O3 - don’t need you love

slightly different from the previous songs, don’t need your love was an sm station release - a collab with british pop singer hrvy. a slightly muted song in contrast the other two, it stills holds a bright energy and its tropical strings holds enough summer for me to be listening to it on repeat for days.
