I've talked about a Kingdom series a while back and here's finally the first part. I adore their concept of portraying different kings from history. I said I'd draw each member as historically accurate as I could, but I changed my mind and do more of a character sheet/tarot card style drawing. I'm quite into art nouveau style stuff lately, as you might be able to tell, and that fits pretty well with fairytale book style stuff.

Sadly the gold only looks like gold in the top half in the photo, but I couldn't get any better lighting.

As an explanation for the individual elements: it's Arthur, so the sword is obviously Excalibur. I used the version of the sword they have on the cd instead of the one in the performances. The cup is the holy grail, that's part of Arthurian legend. His is also the kingdom of rain in Kingdom lore, so I wrote "비의 왕국", which means exactly that, on the bottom right. The code of arms just combines all these elements.
