      Hello ka!!! I have never been so fast to

      attempt a challenge haha. This was a

      limitless one, so i had tonnes of options,

      and i almost made a blog of my favourite

      music videos from 2020 but then, i am not

      going to miss a chance to appreciate my

      favourite song of 2020, which is not a title

      track, rather a b-side. Hence, here are my

      favourite kpop b-sides which have a live

      stage/performance. Please note that, not

      necessarily the mentioned songs are the

      favourite from the respective albums.

        I hope many attempt this challenge so that

       i can read a variety haha.

      Well, if you want to hear seven boys singing

      "yeah yeah yeah yeah " in 10 different tunes

      and melodies in one song and still not

      sound boring and some cute lyrics in a

      charismatic way , this is the right bop for

      you. I am not familiar with

      enhypen at all, but it does not sound a bit

      like its a song from rookies, who have just

      debuted. Its not cute, neither a sexy one,

      rather sounds different from the common

      4th gen music we are used to these days. It

      has a tropical feeling to it, i would say slight

      reggae sounds with that electric guitars

      making it sound kpop like. The high note,

      falsettos during "moonlight" and

      "nemo" parts, in my opinion, escalated my

      love for the song and it definitely takes it a

      notch higher. The yeah yeah yeah parts are

      stuck in my head and i can still hear it very

      clearly lol. But then the chorus is a two part

      one, with "i"ll be your boy boy friend ",

      coming back to play again, and those

      triplets claps ing it, complimented

       it extremely beautifully, and the syllable

      repetitions, in my opinion make a song

       very catchy for me and it works well here

       as expected. The live stages blew my mind

       away, because of such well planned and

      intricate choreography. Right from the

      start, that angular formation made my

      anticipate highly. It was nice to see how

      they had very simple dance routine during

      the hook, which is powerful and harder

      choreo during the rest of the song, as a

      result of which, it balanced it out perfectly.

      The wink during the " nemo " part, i swear

      many fans died during it haha, undoubtedly

      the killing part. Also, can

      we take a second to appreciate the variety

      of striped shirts they wore through out...

      Are you a ketchy yet? Well, i was on the

      road to be one, got distracted in the middle

      due to "juicy" (coz woollim,read this, that

      mv sucks) although i have got a liking

      towards it now, but as i was re-listening to

      their albums, i think i fell in love with them

      more than before. Like as a person who

      tends to listen to boy group music more,

      rocket punch's sound is totally a punch to

      the ears, its strong, not too cute,

      charismatic and very cool. This track, i

      100% recommend listening to it and it

       could easily have become a title track. It

       has that stripped down hip hop feeling and

      these girls with their swag and confidence

      continue to do justice to the lyrics and the

      feelings that are quite similar to "bouncy",

      which talk about being oneself, not caring

      about the world, and being proud of your

      own identity. Loved the choreography, the

      quirky moves. The hook of the song is hella

      catchy, and i don't know, it reminds me of

      another kpop song. I liked dahyun and

      suhyun's parts, the rap by sohee and the s

      to the o to the l to the o parts haha. But

      probably i like yunkyoung the most, her

      voice is just so breath taking . The way she

      danced with a smile on despite being

      injured shows true artist spirit. Give it a

      listen please.

      The way verivery showcase their versatility

      with their songs is noteworthy. I still don't

      have a song from them that i dislike. And

      this song is no exception. Well, "lay back "

      is undoubtedly my favourite track from their

      "face us " album, i am mesmerized by it,

      however "photo" is a strong piece with the

      staccato type vocals and the ascending

      synths in the background, that makes it a

      great halloween listen, but also its super

      groovy and flowy. Here, there are more sing

      song rap parts than the vocals that we

      usually hear in their title tracks , and i

      usually do not like raps a lot but this

      balances really well and the millitant

      sounding instrumentals give a bit of vixx

      feeling, but with a twist. I am like really

      liking yeonho and gyehyeon a lot these

      days. Needless to say, they are one the

      insanely strong group when it comes to

      choreography. And kasper being one of the

      choreographers , the sudden fast

      movements slowed down effect can be

      seen in their routine. The floor rollings and

      twists make it seem so dramatic. The song

      talks about finding one's list path and

      creating a photo with all the missing

      aspects of life. Now that i listen to the song

      again, doesn't the beginning remind you of

      G. B. T. B a bit? I also like the normal

      performance more than the road to

      kingdom one. What about you?

      My favourite song from "first collection" ,

      this song deserved a whole music video

      and a storyline of its own. Different from the

      title track "good guy ", the classical guitars

      here give off a regal vibe to it and we see

      those shine here who normally

      get fewer parts in title tracks. The

      reverberated r&b vocals paired up with

      emotional rap verses make it perfect for a

      hearfelt listen. We get a perfect hwiyoung

      beginning Youngbin probably has one of the

      best rap verses amongst all other songs,

      and the way he raps with a sense of

      desperate tone, i love that. And although i

      got super excited seeing inseong in a beret

      with that faded orangish hair, and his voice

      blessing my soul with that hook, jaeyoon

      and dawon and taeyang as well, i must say,

      they own this song. The vocal adlibs from

      taeyang, soulful lines from jaeyoon and that

      highnote from dawon is the ultimate song

      you should recommend to anyone wanting

      to enjoy an ethereal r&b piece. And the live

      stage was fascinating to me for a reason.

      Either bsides have stages where they just

      stand and sing or have intense choreo. But

      this one, it has some minimal choreography

      and they never stood purely still, with

      various poses, and it actially went well with

      the song haha. And those suits, were

      mindblowing.

☰ omg : golden child :love_letter:

       Quite contrary from the mysterious "lucid

       dream" this song does follow the electro

       pop sounds but transitions in to a bright

       and vibrant song instead. The moment i

       reached the chorus, i knew this was going

       to play in my head all day as its hella

       catchy and you cannot stop your body from

       grooving along. Jibeom does an wonderful

       job opening it followed by donghyun. And i

       must say , for once you can say that the

       main vocal duos do not seem like eating

       up all the lines of others lol. The ' oh gosh '

       part from hook is extremely attractive and

       the "my mine my mine " parts do take all

       your attention. I love the prechorus how the

       instrumentals are barely there and the flow

       is graceful. I would say that the

       rappers shine in this one a lot. I

        totally am impressed by the verses here.

       Kinda reminds me of "genie" . And yes this

       has a performance too and the

       choreography is the cute old golcha style.

       Energetic and jumpy type. It makes the

       song sound more amazing and it would

       easily for a title track too. The part

       where the choreo transits from jibeom to

       Daeyeol, honestly i stood up and jumped

       myself to control my fangirl screaming lol.

       And the ending pose will cure stress haha.

       The producer thankfully gave nice parts to

       jaehyun and bomin. Probably, this is few of

       golden child songs, where everyone has

        a decent amount of lines. If you check out

       the lyrics video it has some errors btw. And

       although my favourite bside from this

       album is probably " me by " or

       "moment ", omg is 100% gonna be on

       repeat. Woolim did a nice job releasing a

       performance video to it. Also, if you watch

       the choreography closely, you can see

       many moves from "let me ", "damdadi" etc.

       incorporated here. I don't know that was

       intentional or just a coincidence.

☰ poison : got7 :love_letter:

      This song was the last track for the "dye",

      and let me tell you, there could not have

      been a better ending to the album. Quite

      different from "not by the moon" which has

      this regal sound, this track is more on the

      hip hop side with some r&b influences.

      Honestly, based solely on the live stages, it

      was difficult to choose my favourite one

      between this song and "aura" ( coz like

      youngjae's compositions never fail to meet

      my expectations and that red outfit was

      gorgeous) but "poison" is that song which

      is instantly catchy and gets in your head.

      You can totally hum the melody along . And

      yugyeom is credited with the composition

      as well, which is even better! Jackson with

      his sing song rap style begins the song and

       i really really loved bambam's soothing chill

      voice , his parts were beautiful. Jb and

      jinyoung are versatile in every possible way

      and mark's verse is super powerful, he

      shines through it a lot. And what to say

      about youngjae, he is flawless. I can never

      stop looking at him. When he strikes the

      highnote at "never stop" , i was like, yes

      please never stop singing haha. And

      particularly those suits and the glasses

      killed me . They looked like elite

      businessmen haha. And the way they use

      the door as the prop, the choreography is

      insanely good. It has that laid back vibe.

      The use of handkerchiefs was so creatively

      executed. And all youngjae stans, i am sure

      you all perished like me towards the end,

      when they take off their coats and do body

      rolls. The way they exit the door, i was like -

      they all are entering the door to my heart.

☰ made in you : suho :love_letter:

      Okay, hold on, i know this has no dancing

      and all, but like do you even need those

      when a whole junmyeon is standing in

      front of you in his favourite violet suit

       with a turtleneck, singing this amazing

      masterpiece live with a full band behind

      him? Its a whole package in itself. And,

      honestly, i prefer "made in you " to the title

      track and somewhere i feel like its my

      favourite song from the entire year. Like its

      for us, exo-ls and he says that all the time

      and maybe it would have gained more

      attention as the title track as well. Its not

      too gloomy or slow that will make you

      sleepy, neither it is hardhitting despite

      having some rock influence and elements

      in it. Its a "chill with a book and coffee "

      song that calms me whenever i listen to it

      (basically everyday lol) . " i am not afraid

       as we can walk together, coz that you know

      without you i cannot shine "....Man, these

      lyrics make me cry everytime. The bridge

      of this song is so enthrailing, the way he

      hits that high note with "tonight" and the

      way the instrumentals pause for a second,

      followed by the finger snaps, i am totally

      sold for that. This song is on the lighter

      note as compared to other tracks in the

      album with soft breezy tones where he

      serenades all his fans as the reason of his

      life. I love how he can sing piercing notes in

      higher s, yet come down to his

      chest voice with feathery and breathy voice.

      He has it all. The live performance is one

      great thing SM has done in its lifetime, and

       i loved the set up as well. The changing

      colourful pastel lightings, the stage, the

      structure all complimented the song really

      well. And oh, he never looked directly in to

      the camera until he suddenly takes the mic

      out of the stand and flirts with it, it felt like

      heaven. Probably one of the few good

      things that has happened to me in 2020 is

      watching suho say to me " i am made in

      you, girl you make me one of a kind. "
