O1.Seokjin Becomes Seoul Ambassador

This week a video by Visit Seoul was p-

osted    to   social   media;   and    featu-

res Seokjin as the main character!

The video aims to promote Seoul as a

prime travel location, with Seokjin doing

the voiceover and appearing in the vid-

eo, visiting tourism spots in Seoul.

Seokjin became Visit Seoul Tourism’s o-

fficial ambassador   last week on 21s-

t August, and since then he has appea-

red in several pieces of their promoti-

onal material!

O2.Namjoon x Megan Thee Stallion

30th August

At 11:07pm (KST) on Friday, a small hint

was shared to BTS’ social media; where

they reposted Megan’s post that simply

reads “ :racehorse: X :purple_heart: :eyes: ”. Clearly the horse r-

efers to Megan and the purple heart h-

as been closely tied to BTS for years.

However, with BTS’ addition there is a r-

reference   to Namjoon specifically.   T-

heir post reads “ :racehorse: X🦔( :koala: ) Coming S-

oon! :purple_heart: :eyes: ”.

Now this addition shows a hedgehog a-

nd a koala; the koala is an emoji closel-

y associated with Namjoon for a while

now, with his BT21 character, Koya, w-

hich is a koala.

The hedgehog threw me off initially, but

I think it represents Namjoon with hi-

s buzz cut, as he made his profile pic-

ture   a Sylvanian Families baby   mole

for a while, but since there is no mole

emoji, they used a   similar emoji, th-

e hedgehog!

There is currently no more informatio-

n, but I’m sure we will hear more soo-

n, and I’m super excited for a Namjo-

on and Megan collab!

O3.Jungkook’s Birthday

1st September

This week Jungkook celebrated his 27t-

h birthday! On   social media, BTS’ a-

ccounts shared an edit of a baby phot-

o of Jungkook’s, as well as photos from

the past year, and Hoseok and Namjoon

also shared public birthday wishes for t-

he maknae!

Jungkook also left a brief message o-

n Weverse thanking us for the birthday

messages, and also let us know tha-

t he’s doing well, and hopes we are too!
