Excited about Lucy + want to share

Ok, so I'm 100% working on one or two concert review blogs for the Lucy concerts I just attended, but I needed to share this first bc my head is buzzing about Lucy and I need to talk about them :dizzy_face: ‍ :dizzy:

Ok so!

You might this post I made a month ago about the freebies I was making for Lucy in Philly! I was fully planning to make a whole bunch of bracelets like these to give out in line, but I was just so busy last month that I was only able to make about 15 bracelets by the time the concerts rolled around.

I was really bummed that I wasn't able to make that many bracelets for Walwals, plus more recently since gift giving was allowed at the fan sign I wanted to make some bracelets specifically for Lucy too, but again, no time.

So on nyc concert day, my sisters and I divided up most of the bracelets that I did manage to make to wear ourselves, and that left the four bracelets that say their names as extras. And so as a last minute decision I decided I'd bring them to the concert and possibly give them each a bracelet depending on how the fan sign gift-giving situation looked.

In line for the fan sign we could see that people were just giving the gifts directly to the and that it was going ok, so I got my bracelets ready and gave them to each of them!

I made sure to warn them each that the bracelets might not fit, I really wasn't making them with Lucy in mind, I just measured the first one to my wrist and then kinda made the rest with the same number of beads (except for the ' names ofc). Since I was originally planning to give them out as freebies I wasn't putting much weight on the sizes, bc everyone in line would have different size wrists and if it doesn't fit it can be a keychain or something.

But all the were really sweet and accepted the bracelets and expressed gratitude and stuff! :sob: :yellow_heart:

I was actually really caught off guard when I gave Sangyeop his and he just put it right on, like, waaah. I didn't see the others do anything with theirs other than accept them, but Yeop just put it right on like a reflex, 'n I just thought it was cute, like, he's so thoughtful 🥺

Anyway, after the fan sign I was ecstatic with just that, but then soundcheck started and as we were watching them on stage we noticed that all the (except for Wonsang) were wearing bracelets including mine! :sob: :dizzy_face: ‍ :dizzy: :sob: :yellow_heart: :yellow_heart: :yellow_heart:

(Wonsang wasn't wearing any bracelets at all, so I definitely don't take it personally! :joy: )

They also all kept the bracelets on throughout the whole show!

It was just sweet and surreal, like, I can't imagine telling 2020 me that the first time I'd see Lucy in concert they'd be wearing something I made for them 🥹 :yellow_heart:

Idk, things were really crazy for me the whole lead up to the concert, and I was feeling really down about the fact that I couldn't accomplish what I wanted to with those bracelets, so Lucy wearing them that night ended up meaning a whole lot to me :sob: :yellow_heart:

If you're able to see Lucy perform at one of their tour stops then please do! It'll be one of the best concerts you've ever seen! You won't regret it!!
