this song was so upbeat from the first moment i listened to it! i really felt that feel-good energy from the first beats of the song. im not even gonna lie, this is definitely the type of song i would want/expect from a young and lively group like epex! to begin the lyrics are about puppy love which i genuinely adore so much. to interpret it another way you could think about it like epex trying to work hard to make zeniths happy <3 in the song they have a kind of response- moment where they’re like “first off” and “next one” which is very unique and i found that really great for fan engagement during performances! and their da-dar-di-da-di-da’s together?? literally so adorable. baekseung’s little rap mid song had me ON THE GROUND!! i will never be able to grasp how that face can sound like THAT. literally never. additionally, mu’s voice is absolutely adorable. the moment when the song switches vibes and jeff hits us with his raspy voice :bangbang: :interrobang: i had that part on replay for forever. that is definitely the falling climax of the song and i am ALLL here for it. even though i did not mention all the they really come together and make a song that radiates such an enormous amount of happiness. another thought i had is that normally with louder songs it is very difficult to blend voices but they manage to make theirs come together in utter perfection. if you wanted a song that makes you feel comforted and like nothing could stop you, this song should definitely be on that list!

I am absolutely mesmerized by this song and how angelic it is, it's odd cuz i feel like i have heard this song before even though it's my first time hearing it kvkskd !! :cloud: What I like about this song the most is how slow and steady it is in feels (the melody n all), but is absolutely fast to ones eyes - the polarizing effect is what makes me mind blown and together with the softest choreography EVER it just makes it the best combo ever !! :cloud: But back to the song, i adore mostly the vocals and to hear everyone from EPEX to share their lines within vocal aspect is just chiefs kiss (even rap line which is sooo satisfying), Yewang and MU really carried some of the more heavenly parts of the song (as heavy Dawit biased his vocals were my fave 🥰) but the rap lines oddly gave the song overall a bigger shape and form ? Idk how to explain that, like it fits very well and does not feel odd !! :cloud: The lyrics are also really somber and beautiful (could be interpreted in many ways imHo), sometimes songs like these really fits with my personality since I'm so emotional and always inside myself (majority of times, maybe everytime kgikais) - it's like a comfy pillow to lay your head onto, or a really needed hug from a person !! :cloud: Epex always shows a really diverse side when it comes to b-sides and this really shows a good example, since this song really goes in contrast with Sunshower which is the title track for this very album - overall a song I'd recommend strongly to new zeniths coming to stan this group ~ :two_hearts:

It's always tricky finding a good b-side to listen to these days (especially when the stan list is ascending into space in it's lengths) and I'm glad that Skyline, which is a b-side for EPEX Sunshower, just hit me in all the right spots and angles and is such a refreshing vibe especially now when we all wait for the summer to FINALLY start ! :cloud: Along with Sunshower, which was the albums title track and an absolute lovable one, this one gave me quite the positive vibes and I was hooked in it ever since I saw their medley spoiled previously, prior to their comeback - there is just something so polarizing about this song, pros and cons, that makes me hooked on it and listen to it even more, and with each listen I find even more things to appreciate in it ! :cloud: Mayhaps it's the vocal aspect that drives this song (the chorus sends shiver down my spine i gotta tell ya) - i swear this group never misses with it's intricately placed vocals and how well each vocalist balance out each other, maybe it's the ballad mix with more pop like beats feels (the instrumentals were funky in this one y'all) ? Who knows - the lyrics is what made me fall in love with it more, the lightness and positivity (bit of melancholy as well there) that it shows just makes this whole listening experience so much cooler ! :cloud: Overall, positive song with it's fair share of nostalgia, would and absolutely will add this to my summer as it's a very fitting song to listen to when in car our out for a walk ~ :kiss:

epex came back with an album, so the team took their time to write this review. we knew that we would do it as soon as they teased it for us. therefore, i'm excited to talk about 'sunshower' for now. that is the title track for this mini album. it gave us happy epex again. they have two main contrasting concepts while this one just like 'do 4 me' falls into the category of cheerful and positive epex. the concept is very bright and colourful. at the same time, the song sounds very playful and fun. i have to it that i didn't immediately came to enjoy this song. i would say that i prefer their powerful songs, but i came to realize how great this song is. these boys truly suit the chaotic concept so well. the energy in this song is incredible. i can't help, but smile. this song soungs addictive while it's fun to move along. the song includes many memorable parts that just stay with you. the structure of this song is well done, especially the build-up is amazing. i enjoy listening to it. that then turns into the upbeat chorus. a chorus that makes you feel at ease. then?? jeff's rap part?? the way he comes in after the first chorus?! the deep voice?? his flow?? his rapping?? no, i'm not biased. definitely not, but he!! jeff stands out so much. he also has other lines which he beautifully delivers. listening to him is memorable. i adore him so much. he's so skilled and simply breathtaking. anyway, coming back to the song itself. it's constantly upbeat and energetic. it sure is a feel good song. it sounds lovely and healing in its own way. the song truly is meant to make you smile from one ear to another. i think that they did so well. epex suits this genre and concept in a great way. i also think that the others sound pretty. their light and sweet vocals are stunning while the other rap parts are exciting to listen to. it's a well produced and executed song. the delivery is irable. plus the mv and choreography are amazing as well. i don't want to repeat myself, but it's happy-making and positive. it's fun and exciting. i do recommend checking this out if you need a safe place or a reason to smile.
