Happy Birthday, Han Seungwoo! :balloon:

Usually I am not a person, that writes birthday blogs because I let people do that, that are able to express their love for these idols better and I wouldn't even exactly know what to write. Also today I could have posted definitely something different. Something fitting for Christmas Eve or even my experience as K-Pop fan as it will be exactly two years today that I have been part of this whole world.

But today I still decided to do a birthday blog. Why? On the one hand because the person that will celebrate his birthday today is a person that has grown very very much on me in the last half year. And also due to the recent events, I feel like writing some appreciations for someone and to spread some positivity!

So who exactly am I even going to write about? Most people have already seen it at the cover and the title, but maybe some people don't know that person yet and still clicked on here out of curiosity, so let me shortly introduce this man.

Han Seungwoo

Seungwoo is a member of the boy group Victon, which debuted in November 2016. He was one of the longest trainees under Acube/Plan A with Seungsik and Chan, is now the oldest member of Victon and takes the position of the leader, the lead rapper and a lead vocalist.

He was born today, 23 years ago, on the 24th of December, 1994. Also he is the younger brother of former Secret member and actress Han Sunhwa.

Seungwoo actually became my second ultimate bias this year. Something I didn't expect would ever happen, especially not with a member of some rookie group, because Cha Hakyeon had this position all alone for a pretty long time, but then suddenly Seungwoo has taken over my heart so I can't deny that he has become even to Hakyeon.

These are the facts. But let me tell you what made me fall for this man as much as I did. I needed some time to realize that myself, as he wasn't even my bias or anything when I started stanning Victon. But slowly I saw what was hidden behind his often quite cold and macho-like appearance, so let's get right to that.

↬His Talent↫

Seungwoo is such a well rounded person! He might not be the main dancer, main rapper or main vocalist, but yet he is stable in all these areas and constantly improving. His voice is pretty unique and I think it's very calming to listen to, which is why I love watching his individual livestreams on vlive, even though there are no subs, but he spends a lot of his time there singing so yeyy!~ On Twitter there are also a bunch of videos ed of him singing, most of the times together with Seungsik, and it's a true blessing. He even did a song himself one which you can find here that showcases his wonderful voice very well and it's a great example of his writing & producing skills as well. So far he only wrote some of the lyrics for Victon's songs, but I'm sure we are gonna hear a lot more coming from him in the future and I can't wait for that!

But because that isn't enough, Seungwoo is also physically unbeatable. Being the strongest member, who's just naturally good at all kinds of games and types of sport (except for swimming but nobody is perfect lol), the other are often already giving up beforehand when it comes to any physical competition against their leader.

How can someone be just so good in so many different ways? It's frustrating. :))

↬His Leadership↫

As oldest member Seungwoo has taken over the role as Victon's leader and he is really giving his all for the group. At first glance you might not notice it that much. Seungwoo is a complete introvert that likes his time alone and might not always express his affection for his fellow , but looking more closely, you see how much he cares for the . He is truly like a dad, which is why they even call him often as such, putting the before him, enduring sicknesses and all that without ever complaining and making sure the others are doing well. Also the feel just comfortable around him, being able to tease him and all that. I'm amused every time Subin convinces him of some yaja time, while Seungwoo even seems to enjoy that lmao. Over all it's just a great dynamic between all of them and you see how close they all are due to them having trained together for several years and have bonded strongly, so even though Seungwoo's leadership isn't that recognized by other people, I'm sure he's very appreciated by his in those .

↬His Ambition↫

Seungwoo knows what he want and he gets it, that's for sure. It's not like he is a bad loser or anything (or at least if he is, he doesn't show it), but that doesn't mean, he is going easy on anyone, even if it's just about some little games on broadcasts. Together with his pretty strong self-confidence it's almost an intimidating combination, but one that I'm very thankful for because otherwise he probably wouldn't be here with Victon. Because originally his parents were against him choosing the path of an idol as they had already seen the struggles his sister had go to go through and didn't want him to experience the same, but that didn't stop him. He came to Seoul on his own, taking part-time jobs and became a part of Acube, now Plan A, and is now able to stand on stage and achieving his dream with his fellow . And let's be honest, it's not like Victon isn't guaranteed any success. They already have a stable fanbase in Korea an I'm sure internationally they'll also gain more attention in the future, so it was definitely worth for Seungwoo and the others to follow this path and I'm grateful for that!!

↬His Smile↫

This is just a small thing I want to mention. First of all, Seungwoo's visuals are stunning. Of course I don't want to reduce him to it but I can at least mention it, can't I? Even though I usually prefer more... sharp faces, his soft visuals has totally caught me. Especially his smile is something that captivated me a lot of times. As I wrote, Seungwoo is an introvert that doesn't always show his feelings freely, so his smile is something we don't always see too often. But when he smiles then it just feels very real and I can't stop myself from smiling, too!

↬His Love for the Fans↫

Probably the biggest weakness Seungwoo has are his fans. Even though he tries to remain his strong and manly image most of the times on broadcasts, he just can't say no to fans' requests like aegyo. And he might be often having a quite hard time expressing his feelings, but he still tries his best to let the fans know how much they mean to him and tries to stay in through Twitter, their fancafe and vlive. Regularly he even provides little gifts for the fans, like self written songs (like the one mentioned earlier) or just a short but cute video, like this. I love his cheesiness!

My Letter to Seungwoo

(I'm doing him some justice and gonna make this extra cheesy as well. Don't say I haven't warned you.)

Dear Seungwoo,

I can't actually express how thankful I am for being able to get to know you and Victon and even though I don't know you in person and never will, you became very important to me. I can proudly say you live up to your position as 'idol' to me as you are actually kind of an inspiration for me. I often feel like we have a pretty similar personality and I can relate a lot to you, so seeing you being able to go after you dreams and being able to achieve so much, I feel motivated in many ways. But I also want to tell you, that you shouldn't always act like nothing can hurt you. We are all just human, we can get sick, can make mistakes and everyone has his weaknesses. So you surely don't need to be perfect or need to put your job before your own health. And even though you are the leader and you need to be someone that your can always rely on, you are also able to always lean on them, so don't hesitate to share your problems with them as well!~ You are doing great though and I don't ever want you to change. I'm already excited for what the future has in store for you and Victon, but I'm sure it's gonna be great and I'll make sure to you on your way!
