hello lovelies~ unfortunately i'm here again with a blog partnering with friendship day challenge. please be prepared for another wild ride aka me yelling about this absolutely annoying bestie my heart chose to have 🙄 :yellow_heart: .

         10 facts about your friend, think

         of it like an icebreaker.

          1; he's a very young, rebellious,

               annoying kid jk a very, kind

               child in his teens ig 🙄

          2; he's from USA and we share

               almost similar timezones, he's

               1 hour behind. he lives near the

               sea and also have like multiple

               houses including a cottage.

               dude's filthy rich.

          3; his birthday is on november

               13th, and zodiac sign is scorpio.

                our signs are surprisingly com-

               patible with each other regarding    

                friendships. quite a shocker.

          4; he's taller than me and has a

               deep, croaky voice which does  

               not intimidate me at all ...

              when he laughs, it's so squeaky

               and adorable :'D              

           5; he's a big fan of older gen kpop

               groups like bts, shinee and block

                b and also ikon, stray kids and

                ateez ( :pray: ). he's also a fervent

                khh stan and stans alot of soloists.

               dean, zico and holland, to name

                some of his baes. he's crazy about

               those characters in genshin too.

                he enjoys blogging, editing,

                drawing, painting (ima promo

               playing genshin for hours and

                ignoring me, unfortunately.

            8; he has alot of pet doggos and

                horses, probably his own zoo.

            9; he was (and still is) into vocaloid

                  before he got sucked into the

                  k-music world. now, he's trying

                 to get me trapped in the

            1; i'm ok, ikon.

the nostalgia i felt when listening to this song after so long was intense :cry: :hand: . i think this is a song for both of us although it's more on the melancholic side. we do have our personal issues to deal with and we usually relay them to each other while giving reassurances. it's like telling you i'm fine but please also worry about me jsjs, i don't need anyone but i also need a hug cries :broken_heart: sad times man. it's a perfect song for ari to add to his night-time crying hours playlist because he itted to crying during the nights :runner: ‍♀

            2; side effects, stray kids.

i have not heard this song before and i'm not sure if he did. instead of dedicating songs to him, i'm here writing about songs that reminds me of him or us and this my friend, is the perfect musical representation. the song starts on quite a calming note and gradually builds up with intense instrumentals and loud, guttural vocals/rapping much like how our conversations starts with a warm, lovely ambience and ends with us coming for each other's throats :') . i resonate with the chorus alot because boy, does he give me a headache. :weary:

            3; mayday, crush ft. joy.

i felt like this song has to be included or this section won't do justice for me, although this isn't kpop i think? it's kr&b? anyways, first this pairing is so contrary :sob: i never in the life of me expected to see crush collaborate with joy and it turned out so wholesome?? - much like the oddballs ari and i are being besties. the song is literally the quarantine anthem and it reminded me of that time we grew closer when i fell sick. just like crush being bored out of his mind, i was too on my recovery journey but he helped me find new hobbies and i looked forward to just chatting with him everyday. ugh i feel the softness coming on 🙄

            4; still here, ateez.

okay to end this section, let me be real for once. 🥲 this song i will dedicate to him uwu it's jpop though, i'm breaking the criteria again rip but it's one that i truly love and feel wonderful listening to - first, because it's ateez :heart: and the secondly, the lyrics are too lovely and they are words i wish to say to him. our friendship is fairly young and we still have alot to discover and embarrass each other about :smirk: . we both had a bit of troubling past regarding friendships and so i know we are wild yet very careful to protect this special bond we share. like the song said, i'm still here and i hope he knows that he can trust me to definitely continuing being there for him once he does for me. unless i get a full time job or get married then i dip LOL jk

         ateez's wooyoung x hongjoong

deciding on a kpop friendship to compare ours too was not a brainer at all. i was very flabbergasted that ari choose these two to create the cover though :flushed: if he also chose woojoong for his ship, i might cRI because we are so on the same wavelength (which is rare). anyways, i knew i'd choose a ship from ateez but the true tom and jerry's of ateez are woojoong, who is very much like ari and i :sob: . apart from these two leaning into becoming my bias line or ult line in fact :scream_cat: , their friendship and brotherhood are too endearing to behold. they love to tease each other out of love, and hongjoong even though being the older of the two still gets bullied by woo :sob: :broken_heart: . hongjoong jokingly itted to almost losing his temperament around woo the most since he's usually the trouble-maker in ateez LOL. they love to annoy and pick on each other which gives us nothing but wholesome moments (like the recent vlive woo did, and joong kept calling and interupting him while woo kept dropping his calls :sob: they're a mess). if this isn't ari and i in a nutshell then i don't know.

but then there is that softer side of their friendship where they give each other and encouragement during practice or when woo always seeks hongjoong for advice on singing, editing etc. like hongjoong said, he sees wooyoung like a little brother and their friendship truly reflects that. :heartpulse: similarly, ari and i have always been there for each other, through good and bad times. even though he is much younger, i do not underestimate him because he gives great advice when i need it and vice versa. although we're like a bunch of loud, disruptive siblings, sometimes i go all mom-mode on ari lmao he signed up for it. hongjoong is afterall the "dad" of ateez too and i'm sure he gets pretty protective of the . lastly, the fact that we hold so much love for the other and will give in to them so easily is shown when woo gave joong compliments just so he can exchange the new pair of glasses he bought with him lol. it's not the same situation but here i am writing this blog when i'm supposed to be on hiatus smh. the things i do for ari. (also i'd really like a title too shh :flushed: ). i see so much of ari and i in woojoong and that warms my heart because i adore their friendship so much - and i can actually say that i have one like it uwu stan us and woojoong tyvm <3 :raised_hands: :heartbeat:

          a friendship's prodigy; you and me.

i recently ventured into writing prose poetry about experiences and people in my life. i was due to prepare a piece for ari, as i always joked to him that i will. however, here's a special one i wrote while ruminating about our friendship and the memories. a little backstory; he was the first person i told about my advent into writing poems and putting it in public - and he was really, maybe too excited and encouraging sjsj :flushed: it's all because of him i'm exploring this new hobby uwu so i wholeheartedly dedicate this piece to him with hopes that he likes it and will cry happy tears or i'll be mad :heart:

          2. DRAWING. ♡

okay let me explain :flushed: i originally had an idea to draw klee, the cute little girl character from genshin impact game. i have zero knowledge (well 1% from ari's attempt to explain :sob: ) of the game and all i knew was recently he played for OVER 12 HOURS and was wailing, being sad as heck because he didn't have her :weary: (thankfully he does now and he can function like a human to complete his blog :pray: :pray: :pray: :pray: ). i thought it'll be a nice gift but i didn't start it yet until he told me he prepared multiple gifts for me :sob: ?*@/^ so i decided to draw something with the little time left. he'd love to know that i actually took time to read up on klee and her personality and that i love her already; she's so adorable yet she loves blowing up stuffs LOL sounds like me right :satisfied: . so i drew some of her cute bombs and i gave them smiling instead of angry faces :') ARI I HOPE YOU LIKE IT, I CAN BE ARTSY TOO BRO :sunglasses:
