✑ Melodic's Top 5 Boy Groups

This is my top 5 boy groups, I'm not saying these groups are better than any other groups. I'd also like to say that besides the top 3 groups I'm always changing my top 5 so these are the top 5 that I like now (and in case I confused you my top 3 never change)

5. F.T. Island

I was always a fan of rock type groups before Kpop so it's no surprise I ended up liking F.T. Island especially with their last two releases 'Pray' and 'Take Me Now'.

Honestly I was having a hard time choosing between F.T. Island and Royal Pirates. The deciding factor was Lee Hongki. I love his vocals and it really adds to the music.

I really hope they can continue making music like this.

4. SHINee

My first experience with SHINee (although I didn't know it at the time) was through 'Boys Over Flowers'. They did the song 'Stand By Me' for the OST. The next song I heard by SHINee was 'Obsession'. After that I've been a fan.

One thing I love about SHINee is that they never disappoint. I never found a title track song I didn't like. All the are extremely talented. They deserve the recognition they have.

3. BTS

Yeah I know that some people are tired of hearing about BTS all the time (sometimes I do too) and I know that the ARMY fandom isn't the best fandom (not saying it's a bad fandom) but yes I am an ARMY.

Now there was a point in time I didn't want anything to do with BTS since it seemed they were hip-hop heavy and back when I first got into kpop I didn't like any hip-hop/rap at all mostly because I hated American hip-hop. That being said BTS became the gateway for me to be opened minded about Korean hip-hop/rap (I'm not just talking about groups either but also solo artists).

I also love the development BTS went through over the years. You can see that as they matured so did their music. I love their music from when they first debuted but I also love their music more now.

2. VIXX

If any of you have seen my 30 Day Bias Challenge then you know my bias is Leo and actually Leo is my UB. Of course though I love all of VIXX. Each member has their own unique trait that makes me love them to death.

The best thing about VIXX is that they are very diverse with their music and concepts. There is a reason VIXX are called the King of Concepts and that's because they can pull off any concept light or dark.

My most favorite thing about them is the relationship between them and their fans. VIXX really love STARLIGHTS and vice versa. It's heartwarming to see their interactions. I love being a STARLIGHT.

1. BTOB

Now some people might think that VIXX is my favorite group since I talk about them more and post more about them. I even had a moments where I thought about switching the two around but every time I do I watch a video or listen to a song that reminds me why they are my top group.

BTOB is the group that got me into KPOP. The first song I heard was 'Insane' I was completely captivated by the vocals, rapping, and visuals. BTOB has some of the best vocalists in the kpop industry (in my opinion). In fact if you know them you know that all can sing.

One of the best things about them is that they are the same on/off camera. They are a goofy bunch of dorks that are one of the weirdest groups. They are humble and are always praised for their manners. BTOB will probably always remain my top group and I'll always be a Melody.
