hello everyone !! its been such a long

time since i made a blog. im happy to be

back to make this one! monsta x recently came

back with BEAUTIFUL LIAR, and i knew

when they were posting teaser photos I HAD

to buy a copy of the album. so here is my

unboxing of it!! let me know if you purchased an

i really love the packaging for this album!

It’s simple, yet still really pretty. I do wish we

could go back to the way they used to

package albums. They were always super

cool designs or something intricate like a whole

box lol. it just seems like they’ve been

putting less effort into how unique their

album designs are :( which is super

unfortunate cause I love collecting funky

looking albums. I do like the logo for

this album tho- the font for REASON looks

soooo dope. I also rlly like the color

of this package and I hope to collect the

rest of them regardless! It comes with

a CD obviously, a poster i wasn’t expecting

but I’m obsessed with, credits booklet,

and the photo-book of course. I do like the

little circle cut out so you can see the

design of the photo-book

from the outside!! <3

I am so obsessed with this concept!

I truly don’t think I’ve seen anything like this-

with the oil painting style. this photobook

did not disappoint at all! my only complaint

is that I wish there were more pictures

lol. I can’t help but think about how handsome

shownu would look in this concept ♡ I love

their outfits, specifically changkyun’s

corset?! it’s a really mature and elegant

concept which I think suits them nicely :) here

the part we’ve all been waiting for.

I haven’t bought myself an album in a long

while so the adrenaline from this made

me SO happy. I love reacting to pulls and

obsessively staring at my cards for 20 minutes

afterwards. I was SOO happy!! I got a

kihyun pc, who is my 2nd ultimate bias :) that

was the first card I saw. Then with the

little photostrip I was on call talking with my

bf about how jooheon always avoids me

so I didn’t expect anything jooheon related

and then I turned that around and SCREAMED!!

he looks so beautiful in these photos i

feel so lucky I pulled this :) definitely going

to put this up on my wall eventually!!

I am also so in love with this kyun and minhyuk

card, I don’t have enough items with

changkyun so I was so happy about it <3

also kihyun postcard?!? I’m so happy he was

so loving of me for this album lol, he’s

seriously jaw dropping :)

I do also want to take some time to

include a little ramble about my favorite songs

from this EP!! beautiful liar, of course, and deny!

they’re polar opposites but that’s what I love

about monsta x’s duality :) beautiful liar is

in my opinion one of the best title track they’ve

released recently!!! it’s so addictive I’ve

been listening to it on repeat for weeks now.

I think this style suits them a lot better

than their last comeback. the electric guitar

makes the song so perfect?? idk it just

adds another level of edge which I love. I

think every member got a really good

time to shine!! Our vocal line did so good

with delivering the powerful vocals that this song needed. I also love love LOVE the choreography

for beautiful liar!! so unique.

deny is another banger from this

album.. okay not exactly a banger but a

very peaceful nice song lol. It definitely gives

me nostalgia and reminds me of their

old songs. It’s got a nice rnb influence, paired

with their smooth and heavenly voices. Even

our rap line does a nice job at toning it

down for this song and making everything

really peaceful :) I’ve been listening to

this song a lot- I definitely recommend it if

you want to start getting into monsta x

but are worried about their more..

aggressive style! 10/10 EP!

Oh my, this is the version I got also!!! I'm so happy someone did an unboxing of that cause I was so ecstatic when the teaser images for it, dropped!!!
