i talked about the last matches, so i can't leave out the final. am i happy?? no, no. absolutely no. i desperately wanted to win. i got excited when they managed to score twice in a row and even get the tie to the 3:3, but the eleven meters weren't it. missing the goal like that is cruel. i mean i'm proud of the team, but seeing them all being so emotional, especially griezman, coman and mbappé has me emotional. i'm not crying this time, but i wanted them to win so badly. they made a few cruel mistakes which lead to this. but things happen. we fought, but didn't get the good results which we hoped for for that. sadly, we can't turn back time, so we gotta live with this :sob:

ok honestly I watched finals here and there (I saw all goals) bc I was watching Croatian team landing in Croatia and celebrating but did I want to win? yes I did. bc you can't be a winner if you are not a person. Messi lost all my respect back in 2018 but here we are. congratulations to him bc that's what my country do. we shake hands with everyone. I am giving all my hopes in Canada, USA and Mexico for 4 years

yes, there's actually the world cup/world championship happening next month. it starts somewhere mid-january and ends in the end of january. it'll be in sweden and poland while the countries are slowly revealing their squads :eyes:

I was rooting for Argentina ngl, it was about time Messi win a worlcup for his country, but this was an epic fight to both sides. Both would deserve that title so i would be okay with any outcome
that's understandable, but i couldn't completely be happy about not minding who wins. in the beginning, i was cheering for messi as well, but then other teams and players came in between so :flushed:
I literally teared up when mbappe managed to score the 2nd goal :sob: I'm honestly still in denial, cause I was also rooting for . I just- :pensive: :pensive: no words. And I was really hoping that would somehow score another goal before they got to the penality kick shootout
