Well, some of my favorite artists had comebacks on Oct 4th and I couldn't just not talk about them  This are just my personal opinions on first (or second) listens, they are subjected to change, though I usually have a pretty clear stance on songs quickly sksk. Anyways, let's just start...

28 Reasons by Seulgi
Wow, just wow! I mean this queen really came through. Her talent is something else. This song is total vibes, I love her tone, how softly she sings certain lines, and just how my eyes couldn't leave the screen as I was watching that MV. The music video is dark and enticing. The choreo really matches the music well. And the production is right up my alley,, I mean we get spooky, we get elegant and we get sexy all in one. Her voice caresses your eardrums like nothing else.. like OMGG the runs she does in this song?!?!? The addition of whistles in the chorus is one of my favorite things about this song. The bridge(?) where she goes "you in danger" reminds me a bit of something Billie Eilish would do. I think it fits her style extremely well. And those SM-staple vocal run right after,, the "yeah yeah yeahhhh" :weary: i got goosebumps brooo, my heart belongs to here completly after that. I LOVEE IT! The whole idea of giving into temptations and the very thin line between good and evil such a spicy concept. I know for a fact that I will be replaying the ish of this song for a VERY long time. True SOTY material.
My Ranking of the Album:
Bad Boy, Sad Girl ft. BE'O
Honestly I can't pick between Crown and 28 Reasons for the second spot because ughh so goood
Dead Man Runnin'
Los Angeles
Anywhere But Home
The whole album is incredible, it really showcased Seulgi's marvelous vocal quality and range. She really did her thing. All the songs feel like HER! I can see myself listening to all of them A LOT! AOTY material right here.

Hello by Treasure
Two Words: PARTY BANGER! Omg this is such a happily infectious song. I was literally jumping in my bed as I was listening to this. What a bop. I don’t even need to say much other than Treasure never misses!! They always make such great songs that have me feeling good. This song makes me happy and it totally had me singing along to it on my very first listen. It also kinda has a nostalgic feel to it, sort of reminiscent of older kpop style of music, which I love. THEY ALL LOOOK GREAT! THE COLORS ARE SOO VIBRANT as well. Honestly I would have love for them to release this during the summer time and then Jikjin now 🤔 it would have made more sense. Nevertheless, I am in love.
My Ranking of the Album:
