Hello everyone, welcome back to another blog by the WEi team! As October 5 marks the first anniversary of WEi’s debut, the team has decided to celebrate the one year of the bestest boys through our little appreciation letters for them! We hope you enjoy the blog and feel our love for WEi!!

happy anniversary to the best boys ever! my time as a rui is still short, i’ve only been stanning wei for a few months but i’m so glad i finally became rui and i’m so excited to continue as a rui for many years to come! i’ve known about wei since their debut and i did like twilight when it first dropped, but as someone that doesnt stan easily and takes 23703238 years to properly, i hadn’t properly gotten into them until just before bye bye bye era. :( it was after i was revisiting my wonderland era with 1the9, i only just realised junseo and yongha were now in wei so i then went to take a better look at wei and now here we are. an wei ulter, ka’s resident yongha stan, in this amazing team and ing 6 amazingly talented men. wei, my comfort, my home, happy anniversary!

first of all before i begin screaming at this section i cannot believe it has been one year since ive stanned WEi something i will never regret on doing , like they literally are the best persons to exist in this world

anyways it all started when oui entertainment announced theyd be debuting a boy group ofcourse what journey dont start with companies announcing they are gonna have a new group , and being me a one it and knowing yohan is under oui ent i immediately channeled my way researching what the lineup was gonna be and what their concept would be and day by day they were releasing teaser photos and oui go up episodes while waiting for their debut , and then i ed wei team because bubble forced me too /j and like ing the team probably helped me alot on learning and loving each Wei so i dont regret being pushed to the team without me having like a prior knowledge except of donghan and yohan

and then they debuted with probably one of the best and chilliest debut song ive ever heard on a longest time with the song twilight and surprisingly member seokhwa have caught my attention instead of yohan or donghan which back then were the only i knew :D seokhwa’s adorable hair style and his singing voice as the main vocals really just captivated me and up till this day im still a big hwa simp so please deal with it everyone , anyways when i stanned them i still like had no clue whos who it only took me like till all or nothing to actually properly learn their names and thats when my connection with wei grown alot i started watching every videos they probably have released and still do uptoday and during bye bye bye era was it my peak rui era where i decided i think it is the right time to ult them and ever since then I’ve really become so close to every member i love you donghan yohan daehyeon junseo yongha seokhwa i really wish them the best for all their comebacks and manifesting wei first win soon

First of all, I would like to say happy first anniversary to WEi! I am in absolute awe that it has already been a year since the debut of these precious human beings. Their humor, their talent, their handsome little selves, and most importantly their friendship is just everything. So many lovely memories were made and there are much more to come. I am absolutely grateful they came into my life. I’d like to thank WEi for not giving up despite the many challenges they faced just to become one. From survival shows to disbandments, they have gone through it all and yet they never gave up and gave us a wonderful gift a year ago on October 5. As a fan of their previous groups, I, as well as other RUi’s alike, was very excited to see them all in a new group, this time to stay forever more. I am just touched by their hard work and dedication, they will always be an inspiration and a source of comfort to me. Honestly their friendship is also extraordinary and it’s just refreshing to see a group who is super close with the same experiences and such. They remind me that although there will always be hard times in life, there will always be a way to get through them. And that just makes sense with the group’s history. To our coolest Daehyeon who participated in Produce 101 and got to debut in RAINZ, I am always be appreciative of his leadership skills in WEi and I hope to see him help the group succeed even more. His understanding of the and discipline will not go unnoticed. He is such an awesome producer and rapper, honestly how to be him? To Donghan who was a member of JBJ and an amazing soloist, I am very fond of his persistence and determination. I truly believe he will be able to show off his incredible dancing skills to a much bigger audience in the future. To Yongha bestest leader of 1the9 and now a member of WEi, thank you for your hard work and positive attitude. Without that, I probably wouldn’t have gotten to know him better in WEi. In fact, I sometimes find myself relating to him a lot. To my dearest Yohan, you’ve been through a lot becoming 1st place on Produce X 101 and then a member of X1 only to disband only five months after debut. I hope you will always keep the same spirit. Words cannot express just how much I am proud of you. I will continue to you forever. To our wonderful Seokhwa who has been a trainee of multiple companies and now found his forever home, I thank you for pushing through and staying with WEi. I am grateful for being able to hear your wonderful vocals and appreciate your humor. To lovely maknae Junseo, thank you for keeping your head up high as a member of 1the9 and now WEi. You have such a pretty voice and a wholesome presence, I hope you know you are more than your looks. I ire your effort to make RUi smile every time, you will always be appreciated. Each and every member means a lot to me and I am just very thankful to them. So I hope they stay together for a whole lot longer. Their music and presence will continue to be my favorite. My wonderful WEi, happy anniversary, I love you a whole lot! ♡
