Our Summer ; Day 1

Hello all, welcome to my our summer challenge! I’m not good with aesthetics, so I’ll just hop right into the topic for today!

Day 1 ; Favorite cute boy group concept

1. Snuper - Platonic Love

This was probably my first snuper song, and it’s still one of my favorite songs! I know it’s technically more retro than cute but they’re cuties and so I’ll consider it a cute comeback for this challenge. :relieved:

Snuper was seriously slept on, it’s so sad how under appreciated this song is. You don’t hear too many songs in this style, which is truly a shame.

I love the MV, because it’s so colorful with the flashy clothes and bright retro lights. I really enjoy the older aesthetic, so this mv is really up my alley.

2. TST - Mind Control

Alright, if you were on KA in 2017 when I ulted TST, I’m sure you’re well aware of my thoughts on this comeback, and album in general. It’s one of my most played songs, and it made me so proud to be a Hana. Watching this mv while writing this made me emotional because our angel yohan, but it’s a happy emotional. Yohan looks so happy while dancing and doing his thing in the mv. The whole mv is about making a little potion that makes everyone dance, which is the cutest thing ever.

This is my favorite title track, and my favorite TST album. I’m pretty sure TST has disbanded with all of the departures and other game changing events, so this album will forever remain my favorite TST song/album.

3. Bigstar - Run & Run

This is actually one of my favorite songs to this day and no one can change that. Sanghak is my child I shall protect (even though he’s older than me—)

Like Snuper, this was my first bigstar song, and it’s the superior song. It’s my hype song, and I always listen to it when I need some motivation! The mv is very bright and upbeat. Lots of dancing and messing around. Raehwan needs to chill out though. He’s so cute he’s actually going to steal my heart.

It’s so sad to see bigstar disband so early, but I do still follow each of the continue their journey through life knowing they made my journey so much brighter.

4. X1 - Like Always

Last one, it’s not necessary a concept but more song since it doesn’t have an MV. It’s one of my favorite songs, and I know it only because of another KA challenge called “switch your faves”

I deadass had this song on repeat alongside You Got It by X1 during my 18 hour flight/layover to Oregon. Definitely no regrets.

Thus song also made me fall for Hangyul, my precious squishy I will forever love. 🥺 :heart:
